That's the "Chevrolet SS Concept" from a few years ago. They had it featured at the Chevy Triangle last year on Woodward. I hope to actually get up there tomorrow and see first hand the other vehicles they have on display (never made it the past 2 times up here).
I saw this concept in Nashville in 2003 as part of a display with other concepts for the 50th anniversary of the Corvette. Neat vehicle.
Oh man, we sure miss being there this year! Love the bow ties on those tires too! Take some more pics of the hugger orange camaro will you please! Thanks, Ed
Is wowfactor or barakuda there?
Neither came this year. Lots of "regulars" didn't show this year due to extenuating circumstances.
I've gotta get some rest, so I'll make these posts quick.
I swear that Chevelles or GTOs dominated the cruise. Oh, we were also completely overshadowed by the prowler group (over 100 I think), and they got police escorts to clear traffic on woodward just for them!
The first is a "tribute" to Gina in that Taz lives on, but on some other red GM pickup.

Did you see Rebel in the background of that first picture?
The last two are Glen Durmesivich's (SSR design team) 1957 Caddilac Eldorado Brougham - very rare - very cool.
Following that short visit with Glen, we started walking south - unfortunately, we ended up having to walk the entire 5+ miles back to the bank lot. The buses suddenly stopped coming because gridlock was so bad. Needless to say, we are very tired, and my feet are in bad shape now because of it.
Well.. finally getting around to posting some pics...

Just returned from shopping with Wildcat66 and her son Nick this afternoon. We hit great sales on Woodward and came home with lots of merchansie. T-shirts down to $5.00 each in some areas.
Michell and I both found the "Official WDC 1957 Chevy Model" and a very cool poster of the WDC.
I took Machell and Nick to lunch at the famous Dugan's Pub on Woodward. We ate lunch on the upper deck watching some classics go by. Saw a as we were cruising Woodward again.
Pictures coming soon.......still trying to get organized with putting things away from the past weekend.

Can't thank you enough Mr. Ray for again getting the lot again this year, had an amazing time with all of you wonderful SSR Fanatic's. I look forward to next years events.
Was very excited, to meet many new different members. Danny "Mr Gina" was a blast this weekend, was very happy I got to crusie in his SSR. And spend time with him when he got in early for the weekend events. Also "Biker Bruce" and his wife were just dolls, enjoyed learning about Michigan before I was born, I guess things have changed here. Im bad with names and user names but the lovely couple that joined out of Lansing with their SSR, had great conversation with them on the lot, hopefully i will be joing the michigan pumkin run.
And after everyone asking me why I dont post much at all, I thought I might start getting on the site alittle more. I got permission, from my parents to enjoy maggie vally with them next year, I'm already saving my money who knows maybe, just maybe ill be able to show up in my own SSR.
Hopefully everyones travels are safe on their way back home, i will be getting on later to make sure everyone has gotten home.

Today while Machell and I were on Woodward they were celebrating the "Hands across Woodward" The 200th celebration of Woodward Ave. Thousands came to hold hands over the 16 mile stretch as the Church bell tolled at 2:00 P.M.
