I just called and booked us for the weekend. We will be in the beginning stages of building a new house and will probably need the weekend to regenerate. So....sign us up!!

Finally remembered to make reservations today. I am in the Franklin Room. Currently reserved for 3 nights , but not sure about sunday night yet. monday is not a paid holliday for me. That reminds me, I guess I should request the vacation time from work.

For Saturday, we are meeting in York at the Stauffer's Cookie factory outlet. I'll post up the address for GPS systems shortly since I realize I forgot that.

Hi folks! Glad you'll be coming along. It's a very scenic drive and I really hope you'll enjoy it.

Which 'R will you be bringing?

Kevin,

Count me in for the chocolate run. Sharon is going on the "Lititz Chocolate Walk" with a friend so she will already be there. We may catch up with the group later on Sunday.

Rooms update

Doneckers has two rooms left for Saturday nite only.
So I have secured another 8 rooms at Rodeway Inn here in Akron for October 10-11-12th.
These 8 rooms have a single queen bed, mini fridge, microwave,TV, free high speed internet and are all non smoking. When calling mention SSRFANATIC.
Rates are $70.00 a nite. Very clean motel across the street from the police station and next to a Mini Mart where the police hang out. You know free coffee and donuts.
These rooms will only be held to the 26th of this month. After that they may be booked. Do it shortly if you want to come.
They also have rooms with two beds if you want that. $75.00 a nite.
Rodeway Inn
116 S. 7th St.
Akron, Pa 17501
1-877-274-6009
Ask for the newer side of the motel

Thanks Doug! That's going to be a big help. I'll get my room in there (I didn't get one at Donneckers yet and it's obviously too late now).

In the mean time, I got the information from Poole Forge on their pavilion. I do need to reserve it, so the application will be in the mail tomorrow to ensure that we have it.

Between 9am and 10. I'd like to be heading out about 10 so we don't get too late.
