It's been a long hard working day....the bases are complete now...I have now mastered the sanding in between coats...she's baby smooth and looking mighty purty

I didn't get around to taking any pictures on Saturday and very few on Sunday. Kinda hard to drive, shift, yak on the walkie-talkie, and take pictures at the same time.
Anyway, here are most of mine. We stopped mid-way on the tour in Strasburg. We were arriving just as the first train was pulling out --- a minute or 2 later and we would have been waiting at the road crossing for it (and to the spectacle of all the passengers!). Our pit stop lasted long enough to see that first train arrive back at the station after which we resumed the tour.

WE are home!
Karen and I just got home 2 hours ago! We had a blast with all the SSR Fanatic's that attended. Want to thank our long time SSR friends, Doug, Margo and Family for there great Pennsylvania hospitality. Not to leave out "SSR71" Keven our great tour guide and host also.
We are lost without BigJims photos.....I think it was the first trip he got to take and maybe relax a little more, not worrying about getting every shot he can!!!
I wish we could have come back for Sundays adventures, but we attended the Funeral of Edgar Allan Poe in Baltimore.

Big Jim actually forgot his camera! He also couldn't stay for the covered bridge tour so we're out of luck this time around. There were others taking plenty of pictures so hopefully we'll get some more up in a day or so.
