Ok guys, I think our beloved Annual NJ Northeast TBSS Meet has found a new permanent home for 2011 and beyond. It's going to be at Konner Chevolet within a 10 mile radius of the old Little Ferry/ West Paterson area that we're used to. They were very, very cool guys and gave me a tour of the place. I met all the managers, so everyone is on the same page.
It's set for Saturday, July 23rd, 2011 at Konner Chevrolet in West Caldwell, NJ. RAIN OR SHINE!
Shirts are available in light grey or white. S-M-L-XL-XXL $32.50/ea. Raffle tickets $15.50/ea. One shirt and two tickets combo $42.50 Click Here For Order Page
Details that should become reality (i.e. they are already very receptive to) are as follows:
-They can accommodate all the trucks that can come! So I will open it up to other GM LS trucks...on the side of course. lol
-They will be "mod-friendly" to our TBSS's. Their staff is knowledgeable so no bull****. If the mod and/or damage are clearly related to negligence or abuse. Forget it. If the truck is modded from here to SEMA and back, but unrelated to the failed component, you're good. Everything in the middle is case by case. Plain and simple they are fair and reasonable.
-There are lots of restaurants are nearby including a bar, BK, Taco Bell, Panera Bread, Pizza, and Pancake House. We may go down to the spot we hit on the June 11th after the meet. Google map of local eateries <<<---hit SEARCH NEARBY (under address) and type in "food"
-Giveaway list will be made as we go, but of course TBMSport.com is going to be giving away some stuff.
-Stuff subject to change. More stuff as it comes up. :biggrin2:

It's set for some time in June, so we're working which weekend day. As the TBSS's are the biggest number of vehicles, over 100, their vote numbers will more or less set the date.
Details that should become reality (i.e. they are already very receptive to) are as follows:
-They can accommodate all the trucks that can come! So it is opened it up to other GM trucks...in your respective section of course. lol
-Service department will be open and on hand for light service & diagnostic
-They will be "mod-friendly" to our vehicles. Their staff is knowledgeable; so no bull****. If the mods and/or damage are clearly a related to negligence or abuse. Forget it. If the truck is modded from here to SEMA and back, but unrelated to the failed component, you're good. Everything in the middle is case by case. Plain and simple they are fair and reasonable.
-They may be open to doing our mod installs, pending a collaborative agreement that we can come to with regards to my ability to photograph and document the work for media/magazine coverage. I'm hoping to have some type of tech Q&A session on hand that day. Maybe cat-back install, EFILive/Tech II demo, inside and TBSS LS2, etc.
-Parts Department will be open and are extending a discount for all parts ordered through them. Pre-ordered parts can be picked up and possibly installed at the event (depending on the part, of course).
-Mobile chassis dyno
-Vendors will be welcome and hopefully on hand showing off their stuff.
-Food vendors will be on hand, but lots of restaurants are nearby.
-Giveaway list will be made as we go, but of course TBMSport.com is going to be giving away some stuff.
-Stuff subject to change. More stuff as it comes up.
Do you know if the Mobile Dyno will accomodate AWD or just two wheel?
I plan to be there, my drivers inside door handle has been busted for some time now and I did a temp fix but that too does not work anymore (have new part) I have not done it myself as I don't remember which way the spring goes (really have not tried also) any chance I can get this done.

Need to wake up my LS2, need to burn lots of rubber
Well in the 100 degree heat today I finally fixed the door handle, the hardest part was getting the pin all the way through as the spring was getting into the way I had to make the hole a bit bigger to make it fit.
How many of us will be there?
