My SSR: Red 2003 with running boards and a red headed passenger
178 ... Plus the rest of us went to Town Tavern for dinner and tagged in another 40-50 miles. so it figures about right .. apx 220 miles total.
That ride was nice, sorry you couldnt make it.. Rt43 had a detour that put us thru some REAL curvey roads .. it was an Awesome end to the weekend. If your ever down this way again,.. Red and I will be happy to take you over there.

Mason57, Woofman,
We are glad you had a good time! We look forward to doing this again some day.
Next year is going to be tough... However, We will help put on an event with you all... Ill pull some strings for a Smith and Wesson Tour of the factory in Springfield MA if enough people are interested. I can set the tour up for a Saturday,.. perhaps draw SSRs from all over the country.
Ill put out a seperate thread later in the winter once all the events taper down..
Wild Bill & Red.

We just pulled in abour an hour ago (5PM, Monday 9/15) logged a total of 816 miles home and a total of 1780 for the entire trip. I'm glad to know the actual tour mileage as I forgot to set the trip odometer for that. Ruth and I still have the "permagrin" that Wild Bill saw in his rear view mirror. We had a fantastic time, and loved all of the new friends that we met (Democrats included :-) ). A fantastic organization by Wild Bill & Red, we applaud and thank you so very much. Smith & Wesson tour? One of my favorite toys is my S & W model 41 target pistol, let's do it! We are off this next weekend to the Pumpkin Run in N. Michigan. Thanks everyone for the friendship.

Hi Gang,
I have a really nice group photo, taken in the parking lot at Chesterwood, that I have labeled "2008 BERSHIRES TOUR". I have left it in a large format and it is a large file, almost 3 meg. So if you would like it, pm me your email and I will send it to you directly.

. . . and we spend it with this group! Wouldn't change a thing - we had a wonderful time. Thank you to Bill and Red. Planning an event like this is a lot of work and I am grateful that you took the time to coordinate this outstanding weekend. We enjoyed the drive and the tours. Before leaving Dan's home yesterday we spent much of the day at historic Deerfield. We arrived in PA around 2:00 am this morning. Drove almost 1200 miles; the longest trip my SSR has seen to date. We are looking forward to the Covered Bridge and Chocolate Run next month to see many of you again.

Hello Photoblur,
It was a pleasure spending time with you as well. It is nice to know we put on a shin dig that pulled you away from an 8 year slumber
Red and I will attend a few SSR events but we have our "Brides victory party" (aka "Wedding") and Im the Coordinator for Northeast HOG Rally next year. So all my concentration will be focused on that.
We'll see you at the Chocolate Cover Bridge Run.
Have a Great DAy
Wild Bill & Red
