Cabin fever Meet, Greet & Eat
I bet everyone is suffering from cabin fever so how about another Sunday "Meet, Greet and Eat".
This is a drive what you got event. I am driving the Caddy or pickup depending on the weather.
(Like a "Run what you Brung" at the drags.)
Daily driver, pickup truck, winter car/truck or your Toyota with the sticky gas pedal.
This event is Sunday March 14, 2010. Postponed to March 28th.
I plan on being there around 11:30 AM.
Uno's Chicago Grill (next to the Basketball Hall of Fame)
820 West Columbus Ave
Springfield, MA 01105
I will be posting this on the Prowler site also.
Charlie (CQQL_SSR)
John & Cheryl (quick silver)
Jeff (& Brenda?) (Cape Cod Blur)
Wild Bill & Red (hog2030)

Base on the replies so far it looks like Jeff and I are the only ones going from this end of the state.
It looks like it is going to be Springfield again.
Can someone check to see if Uno's Chicago Grille in Springfield is still open.
They have closed two of the Uno's around here.
One last weekend in Plymouth with no notice.
Now the weather watch begins.
Looks like a storm coming Thursday & Friday.

Meet & Greet Postponed
Well I have been waiting to see if the forecast was going to get better.
It looks like rain from Friday through Monday.
Heavy rain Saturday, Sunday and Monday.
SOOOOOOO.
Looks like I will have to postpone this event.
I will be busy on March 21st so how does March 28th sound to everyone?

We all have to start watching the weather for next Sunday (28th).
Long range forecast looks like sunny in the 60's.
I will e-mail all the locals I have contact information for to remind them.

Someone better check to see if the Springfield Uno's is open on Sunday.
These Uno's have been closing up over night without warning since they filed for bankruptcy.
Any locals know of a backup location in case it's closed up for good on Saturday night.
That seems to be the night they close for good.
I asked on the Prowler site because there are a couple of owners that live close to the one in Springfield.
I will let you know if there is a change in location.

Why not meet in the Uno's parking lot anyway and if they ar closed caravan to another location as a group. Just thinking out loud Charlie otherwise if you set it up for somewhere else someone will miss the change of location

I was going to bring a couple of cans of Dayglow Orange spray paint.
How would this look painted on the front of Uno's Chicago Grille?
CLOSED - GO TO ____ LOCATED AT ____ IN SPRINGFIELD
My SSR: Red 2003 with running boards and a red headed passenger
That would have been fun to watch you paint that Charlie...
Thanks for setting this event up,.. always good to see the SSR and Prowler folks.
Touch base with the prowler people,.. see if they want thier own parade segment (limit 12). I would have to submit a request within the next couple weeks.
See ya soon
