Well, I already started by posting over on FNRC, but I wasn't the one taking all of the pictures. I only have a few more from today too (that's the problem of being the lead).
Anyway, here's a select few from the Chocolate run from today.
1 The parking lot at Stauffers - 32 SSRs (is this an east coast record now?)
2 Surpise guest - they just showed up (Rebel and Mrs. Rebel that is - Mrs. Crosscheckfreak was on the guest list)
3 quick stop to let the stragglers catch up. Traffic on some of these back roads is so light that we could simply just stop and wait upwards of 5 minutes. A few cars went by going the other way but that was it!
4 the queue waiting for "Kauffman's Distillery Covered Bridge". I was waiting for the rest to catch up again, but also for a very few cars to cross from the other direction.
5 1/2 of the gang in front of Wertz's Candies in Lebanon (the rest had already abandoned us to move onto Hershey.)
Midnight Rider...A very creative idea for the SSR Badge !
Rebel.....Love thoose dual tips !
Big Jim's bettr half....Patrice
Xseler8........Very cool stripes.........and I gave you a neat idea for the next one !
gonebymidnight....DRIVING !!!! HotRodGirl......COPILOT !!!!

Rebel, was a mold made to be used to create the facia for the dual tips? I notice the gutter/valley around the license plate area has been removed, which I think is great!! I hate that dirt catcher valley/gutter! Is there a source for to lay up some parts? grimmye

Just got back from the bridge run.... what a day! A lot longer than expected... we even skipped the last 2 entirely.
By the time we made lunch (2:30), 1/2 of the group needed to hit the road. Nosepicker was the first out the driveway. Hope he makes it back safely.
By the time lunch was over (shortly after 4), there were only 7 SSRs in the group out of 24 or 25 starting. We covered 5 more bridges. I'm just getting cleaned up and heading back to RaticalSSR's place for pizza. Last group dinner before we all split for home.
These were at White Rock Forge Covered Bridge. The lodge adjacent is the home of Octararo Orphie. Nobody's heard of him, but everybody knows of Punxatawney Phil.
That's all for now. ...heading back out to get some dinner.

I'll post some tonight!!! I was both pilot and co-pilot so not much chance for picture taking. Most are made at the diner today at lunch.
1. Entering freeway
2. HotRodGirl and daugher Jesse. Tall about some great bonding time. Love you both!
3. X-man on bridge. I was riding his A$$ for quite sometime today. Not so sure it was the horse patties I was smelling.
4. Mr. & Mrs. Crosscheck Freak. Very fun couple. Hope you can make it to Maggie in 2008. Would love to hang out with ya'll again.
5. The Photblurs!! Another great couple. What a beautiful lady you are both inside and outside. Thanks for leading the 2nd group today. Without ya'll I'm sure I would be out ther circling a horse pattie somewhere now.

1. Intelligent conversation going on here. Midnighrider (Brian) and Kevin (great job on the run Kevin.)
2. Intelligent conversation over. (Brian, FYI, really enjoyed meeting you and I think your hair is beautiful. I'm kinda jealous of it!!!!)
3. The gentle giant Rebel.
4. Mr. & MRs. Savilloc. Great to see you two again. I reall enjoyed our conversation about the gynecologist.
5. My favorite pic I took. Big Jim and Patrice. He takes so many pix of others so never gets in many pix. I thought it was a great pose. I think this photo could beat many you have taken. Good to see you on the other side of the camera!

3. Debbie and the X Man!!!!
4. X-Man being sandwiched.

It's not chocolate and it's sure as h*ll aint a bridge, but I figured some might enjoy them.....
1 - the outside
2 - classic steamer (Virginia and Truckee "Tahoe")
3 - E7 passenger locomotive
4 - water scoop under the tender (used to recharge the water tank on-the-fly on passenger trains)

Reason: adding the steamer's name
1 - PP&L tank engine (no firebox/boiler) - you have to "charge" it up from another boiler with pressurized steam
2 - PRR GP9, circa 1955
3 - the engineer's controls on the GP9
4 - rail "goose"
1 - GG1 4935 - The main reason I was there was to see this locomotive! By the way, to give you an indication of the massive size of these things, the "PENNSYLVANIA" lettering is already just over 6 feet from the platform.
2 - Engineer's controls of the GG1
3 - future restoration project sitting out back
4 - A view from the overhead walk. Almost looks like a bunch of toy trains from here!
