Below is a post I put on another thread that I thought the participants of the chocolate run may not see.
Just letting AynRand know she doesnt have to go on this run in a Taurus if we have open seats.
If someome has a shotgun seat open they are willing to share please post.

I will be there for the whole she-bang.
Bridgette, no one cares what you will be driving but they will rib you about it (I know, been there done that).
Mr. & Mrs. Vettegirl had to do the "Tail of the Dragon" in a Trailblazer at my first Maggie Valley Rally after their tranny went out enroute to MV.
Llogger & WearyEagle sure looked cute in their little 4 door Dodge rental when they flew to WDC in 2006.
Danny & I looked liked a couple of Goobers in our Mustang in Laughlin. But I guarantee you we had as much fun as anyone.
What a lot of people do is ride shotgun at these events if they cant bring there SSR. Vix & her Hubby Fred did this at MV this past year. She rode with me and Fred rode with Danny and left their rental at the hotel.
I do have a seat open for the chocolate and Bridge runs. So your welcome to ride with me or anyone else if you would like and we can work on finding your boyfriend a seat.
Anyone for a "Leaves" or "Twig" Run later in the month?
It's getting close to that time for a run to the Shenandoah Mountains in Virgina to see the fall leaves.
Last year we did it so late in the fall that it was really to see the "Twigs" instead of "Leaves" run.
I'm free the weekend of Oct 20-21 to do a run to see the leaves this year.
BIG JIM took us down to Roanoke this summer and we found we could ride about 100 miles along the Shenandoah mountains without paying the $15 per car charge that "Sidekick" picked up for us last year. Thanks again Sidekick.
So there are ways to see lots of leaves for a long distance if we want for only the cost of gas.
What does everyone think? I'll bring it up when we meet for the Chocolate/Covered Bridge run and see who's interested and when.
I'll probably will be tied up most Saturdays until after Nov 10 if we don't go the Oct 20-21 dates, and by then it sure will be a "Twig" run.
I just found out that my motorcycle riding friends are going for a two day ride in the Shenandoah mountains on the weekend of Oct 20-21 and are getting rooms for Saturday night.
Looks like that's going to be in the middle of the leaf looking viewing time an should be a great weekend to go riding.
Doesn't anyone have any interest and going for a ride that weekend? I might join my motorcycling friends if there's no SSR riding interest and take the bike up there instead.

I hope the surgery goes well, and you two can make it. Not that I hope the surgery goes well, so you can make it. I'm hoping both...you know what I mean.

Question: How does one prepare for the upcoming Chocolate Factory Tours?
Answer: Visit a local Chocolate Store!
This store had a bonus- a car cruise in their parking lot
FYI – DO NOT LEAVE YOUR CHOCOLATE PURCHASES INSIDE YOUR
SSR ON A SUNNY 80 degree DAY! It was not a pretty sight.
but we will be prepared with cooler and icepacks for the trip
