Thanks Dave for the wonderful run. We had a GREAT time. Just got home and will see what kind of pix I managed to get. Yes, Charlie some of us go a little slow, until someone decides to run it close to the rear end
Was nice to meet some new people and as always it was great to go on a run.

I had a technical issue with the Video's this year. The Video Camera was in my passenger seat tripod setup that I have used in previous years. This year it seems 1 of two things happened which caused the camera to stop recording...
1) I was going a little faster this year causing the tripod to shake which apparently caused the camera, which records to a hard drive, to vibrate to the point that the recording stopped.
or
2) BestPappa's new exhaust created a sound wave that vibrated the camera out of record mode.
Where the video was a bust, the new set up i tried with my Sony Alpha DSLR to shoot stills working incredibly well, once I remembered half way through the first lap that I had to hold the button on the camera. I had it mounted on the Ram-Mount pointed out the center of the windshield. I had the camera set to continuous advance so as long as I held the shutter button I was shooting photos while driving.
I shot 245 images while on the track. Here are a few preview shots. I'll work on getting all of the images up to a public gallery over the next few days.

This is the "Bus Stop" section of the track at the end of the back stretch. I was slowing down from about 85 MPH on the back stretch going into these turns - one handed - to get these pics....

Thank you so much for another great run, dave and laurel!!! Wonderful to get together with great "old" friends.... And such a pleasure to make the aquaintance of "new" friends.... All of which we hope to see very soon!!! - john and cheryl
Dave, thanks for the great time even if Midnightriders video was not complete. I will try to post mine if I can.
The run around the track was great and would do it again.
Hope everyone got home OK, followed Jimjoval and he did not have any trouble until I turned off.

We missed seeing you before you left.
Brian tagged this picture on Facebook of the two speedsters that took up the rear.
I should have brought my video camera and recorded all the wild antics going on at the rear of the SSR line going around the track.
Deb said it was a good thing I didn't record the racing because then Claudia would have hard evidence to back up these stories she was telling.

We had to head out early to make it back for my daughters softball game.
They were a couple of speedsters, you beat us down the front stretch, Rick is kicking himself because of his take off. Next year.
We don't want any hard evidence, then they might put that pace truck behind us again next year.
