Beautiful photo. Thanks! I spent my first 45 years there, the Cape, western mass, and NH. It's a great country we live in, diversity wise.(and every otherwise too)
We had some of the white stuff too in PA. Question for all, I made the mistake of going to an out of the way Pub Saturday night. My husband and I were celebrating our 28th anniversary. However, there was a sort of drunken unstable man at the bar who was eventually kicked out.(Should have listened to my inner voice that said, leave as soon as we got there) We had dinner and left not noticing until we were driving that the lights seemed to be reflecting the bow tie on the road. We only live a rather short distance and wanted to get home. When we got home we saw that the driver side headlight had been kicked in and the grill is now broken. The truck was in fine shape when we arrived at the restaurant. The question is, shouldn't the alarm have gone off? The light still works and is not in any danger of falling out. I have an appointment with Chevy for Wed. The owner of the pub said that he would take care of the repair. It still just makes you want to scream that someone could be so jealous to do this. I will now be very careful of where I go out to eat and be sure that it's a place with lots of outdoor lighting. And leave when I see unstable people sitting at the bar. Not the way I wanted to start the New Year, but I plan to party tonight and ring in the new. Happy New Year to all,
Claudia in PA

Two days ago the snow was gone here......yesterday I took the around the block a few times as with rain recently the salt was gone.
Started snowing late last night and a 1 1/2" of heavy white flaky stuff was on the ground this morning.....can't complain to much as it was really pretty

About 25 miles away from the Rose Parade . . . its was beautiful there and the same here . . . have rain on the way for Thursday, Friday and Saturday, however. Going up to the Zone now and watch the Trojans in the 2nd half emaciate what's left of that funky team from somewhere east of us. When will they ever learn ?
Ahh, Thanks for the reminder of why I left New Hampshire 20 years ago.
It was because of the white rain.
I may have to put the top up tomorrow, to cold, down to 64 already.

The alarm is not a motion alarm. It would not go off in this situation.
Amazing that the owner of the Pub would pay for repairs....that's an awfully nice pub owner.

Was watchin the Weather Channel a day or two ago - glanced up and saw what I thought was a Yellow SSR (snow covered) driving down the street in Lowell Mass - was that you???
Sure a lot different than when I visited a few weeks back...

Snow here in Ohio....
I had to back Roadster out of my shop garage to move a stack of cherry lumber from the garage half to the shop side of the building this morning. Just had to take a pic, as this is the first snow I've had under the wheels of my truck. I like the winter weather and the snow that comes with it. I get to enjoy my hobby of woodworking without the distractions of all the warm weather stuff. Makes me appreciate the nice warm days that will be here in a few months though, and I can roll him out and drop the top.

Wasn't me Keith! My baby is tucked in safe and warm parked on a plastic tarp with a breathable cover on her and a battery tender plugged in. Once every 2 weeks I go over and just turn the key on to run the fuel pump and keep the fuel rails charged. I won't take her out till after the 2nd spring rain.
Massachusetts in it's wisdom spreads a mix of sand and salt on the roads but after its' mixed up and before they spread it they spray the whole load with calcium chloride so our cars and roads don't stand a chance. Yet another reason to get out of here. Whatever time I have left I want to spend driving my "WACOOL" SSR not complaining about cold and snow.
Yes indeedy. I just got the estimate today. New Headlamp and molding. Called the pub owner and he said no problem. Didn't want me to file a police report, etc. They just opened in Sept. Would be bad for business. Hopefully, by Sat I'll be back on the road again. I also would drive in the snow. I'm finding that it's pretty fun actually and since we live in the Northeast........

Hi Dick:
I'm still trying to get out of NH permanently, but my wife has plans on only going as far as MD. We will be in your area for about a week, we'll be staying at her mothers place in Largo between the 7th and the 16th of this month. We both need the time and warm weather to help in my recovery. Pray for some good weather for us...
