Another welcoem from another SoCal Nut. When you get to our coast let us know. Check the National fourm for events that might interest you outside the eastern states. Read everything you can on the site and you will learn a lot about this fun truck that you might not find elsewhere. There is a wealth of information here for the picking.
If you look under MISCELLANEOUS on the left hand side of you profile you will find a button called "Paid Subscriptions" and if you click that you will find the Supporting Membership or Lifetime Supporting Membership fees. These will help you cut through the ADS and such and mke your experience here more enjoyable.

Welcome from South Florida; glad to have you among us, you will quickly find that you have done more than buy a cool truck; you have joined a great family, a wealth of info and much, much, more; get involved and enjoy the ride.
Welcome! You have pretty much joined by merely reading this forum. You will see that this is a unique "club". There is no national president, commitees or other heirarchy to complicate things. Dedicated people in certain areas will sponsor a meet on their own (or form a committee in the case of larger meets) and all you have to do is sign up and show up. In some cases there may be a registration fee to cover overhead, but most are free. You of course are responsible for paying your lodging and food expenses. Sometimes there are optional events (train trips, etc) where there is a fee, but these are optional. There will be at least two events in your area next year, sponsored by Cape Cod Blur and by Wild Bill & Red. Marty from Ohio described the meets to me as the best way to see the US as the people sponsoring the meets know the best places to visit (and eat), he was 100% correct! Hope to see you somewhere in the US next year.

Hello Ken,
I think the national welcome wagon laid it out...
As you can see from the feed back,.. its a great group of people,.. we put together local meet-n-greets, regional and national events.
Some good advise that has baeen passed to you is keep track of the site,.. have some fun posting in the variety of forums, and most of all ,.. feel free to join any event that springs up in here... There are no subdivided clubs in here. We are one big happy family.
Take Care
