Exclamation It's Snowing

Snow in Northeast PA is not unusual, but to have it on October 15 is very rare.
I can not remember snow in October since I was a kid.
Forecast is for up to 6" of snow in the higher elevations thru tomorrow.

Not normally a problem except the trees are in peak color and still have most of their leaves on.
With this being a heavy wet snow it is expected to bring down a lot of limbs and probably some power lines.

Less than one month ago, September 19, we had perfect weather for the Finger Lakes Run.

Hope for Indian Summer next week.

Dave, look at the bright side, 6 more months and it's spring. No snow here, so you could always move north to Canada.

Good luck!

Smile Wake up Call

A look out the window this morning and yes there was snow.
We live in the valley area so the snow was minimal and just on the grass and trees.

Pics were taken off the deck this morning.

Save the painting until cooler weather in Nov or Dec. After all, wouldn't you rather be at Power Chevrolet for the 11th Annual Sun Country Corvette Club October Vette Fest

I'd rather chew my leg off than paint.....but Piggy's fourth birthday is next Saturday, and it WILL be done by then.

That's just a dusting! A teaser.

The earliest snow I can recall is while I was living in Erie (PA). We had a snow in mid November - about a week before turkey day. It wasn't much though.

Beats me but I hope you find him back there and not out here.

As for 42 degrees . . . that can be "cold to the bone" with all your dampness.
