Looking for fellow members in......

Looking for fellow members in Orange County,N.Y. State area,or North Bergen County New Jersey, Sussex County area. I live in Warwick New York, and in the three years that I've had my SSR I seen only two. A red, and a black one. Seen a few in N.J. I would like to hook-up with a few Fanatics locally, and maybe meet at the "CHATTERBOX" drive-in restaurant in AUGUSTA N.J. located on - 1 statehighway 15. Saturday nights is cruise night starting in April (not sure what Sat.). Web site is . Phone# 973-300-2300. And the food is "GREAT", they have table's outside also, so you can keep an eye on your "ride".

We're not in NJ, but we're close over near Scranton PA... actually, it sounds like fun to hook up sometime at the Drive-in... we often cruise over that way anyway due to the nice drives in that area.

Maybe one Saturday in June we can make a point of it to do some cruising in your neck of the woods? April and May are almost full for us right now.

Roadster Jim,
Saturday nights is a fun time. A lot of cars turn out there. Kind of like the drive-ins back in the 60's.

Scuffy,
Just checking in to see if you might be considering a trip out to the Chatterbox anytime soon. I'm thinking we might head over there for the heck of it this Saturday night (6/14).

Just checking as we make our plans for the coming weekend! :-)

Michael

BluDragon I am in North Bergen NJ, have heard about the Chatterbox and will check it out one day. Every Saturday night there is also a big car cruise in Lyndhurst NJ ( Whiskey Cafe Car Cruise in Lyndhurst NJ every Saturday night, as much as 200 cars. ) that is where I am most Saturdays if I am in town.

Also if you are free on June 22 the NJ SSR club will meet at Harold's Deli to stuff our faces ( Nj Meet At Harolds Deli June 22 2008 )

Roger,
I saw the post on Lyndhurst and the event coming up at Harolds Deli. The weekend of the 20th, were going to be in VA for a small run that MidnightRider is hosting, and as for next weekend, I was looking for something close that we could head out to in the evening and make it back at a reasonable hour. So that's why I thought the Chatterbox would be cool since it's about an hour and a half from us. However, I do plan on coming over to the Whisky Cafe sometime soon.

However, we've had the R out a ton this year already and my weekends are slipping away before I'm getting my other zillion projects done!

Thanks for the heads up!

Michael
