Meet & Great in Springfield, MA
I wanted to have a Meet & Great before the snow flies. It looks like the Prowler group was thinking the same thing.
Several SSR's went to the last one at the same location in the spring.
The Prowler bug bit one of our members and he bought a Yellow Prowler last month. (He still has his SSR.)
Here is the e-mail I recieved from Willie of the Prowler Group.
Here is an address for the GPS users:

Well Boys & Girls
This could be the Last call of the Season to Take our Prowlers out.
This maybe short notice, but while discussing the world of High Finance & the Foreign situation, Greg & I thought it might be a nice idea to get one last call in for a Northeast Prowler Group Meet Greet & Eat on Sunday November 22nd at the Uno's next to the Basket Ball Hall of Fame in Springfield Mass. It will be at 12:00 noon but some will be there earlier.
The last Meet Greet Eat we had this Spring there turned out to be a nice time with some of our SSR friends & an invite is extended to them again, hopefully Charlie McCarthy can get the word to that group.

I sent out a general e-mail to all the New England SSR owners I have info on.
Please e-mail or respond here so I can get a head count for the restaurant.
1. CQQL_SSR - Charlie
2. FMP - Frank also has a Prowler which he is driving there and may bring the SSR also
3. TLC5 in CT - Tom - maybe?
4. Vic & Peg
5. TWoz - Tom
6. Jeff & Brenda
7. John & Cheryl
If the weather cooperates we will be there in our just aquired yellow Prowler. The SSR went into storage last week (just before we saw this event posted) so I'm not sure about bringing it this time. If the weather really looks good and my wife or daughter wants to drive the SSR we will try and take it out of storage for the weekend.
We have no plans of selling the SSR. I would not have purchased the Prowler if it meant giving up the R. I can still justify the R as a "practical" vehicle since it has lots of space in the back for my sons baseball equipment. The Prowler is awesome but practical it is not.

Carl, I know you are in Florida and not going to attend.
I hope you and Dot enjoy the Key's Run.
Remember the Key's are about 5" above sea level.

I saw your post about taking the Redline to the car show for your friend so I figured you had already left for Florida.
Enjoy the Winter in Florida and we will see you in the Spring.

Sorry to see you two newlyweds are not going to make it.
It looks like the weather is going to be good. Sunny in the 50's.
They have reserved the whole room at the restaurant.

Charlie performed surgery on my ride...
(Never met the guy, and he said show up and I'll help you instal it...)
The crossmember (heavy 4 hole) replaced the smaller (2 hole)...
Charlie helped tap the front holes and the new (Trailblazer 4 hole) fit like a glove.
To any new member or one who hasn't made this "very easy" mod... DO IT.
The difference with top down is "real".
Thanks again Charlie.
OH, the Prowlers Sam and Willy made me feel like one of the gang. The rides they showed up in would turn any car buffs head. Just the right color
