Don't you put your SSR's away in MD at this time of the year? Doesn't it snow there?

Marty,

We don't get too much snow here. My truck stays in the garage for an average 2 weeks during the winter.
I like snow...and I am from Florida go figure?

Jim

I had mine out on Monday. As long as the roads are clear of salt residue and it's sunny out, I'll go for a drive. Hmmm.... like today perhaps. We're supposed to have rain tomorrow --- but if it's going to freeze at all, that means the salt trucks will be out over night. So, on Saturday, if I find that to be the case, the 'R will stay in the garage and I'll be driving the big truck instead (I know.... party pooper).

Smile Additional potential stop

From this Friday's (01/02/09) Enterprise - Southern Maryland Weekend Edition:

Dolls and Trains

The 23 rd Annual Holiday Christmas Doll and Train Exhibit presented by the St Clement's Island Museum in Colton Point, MD will continue at the St. Clement's Island Museum through Jan. 4. The exhibit is open noon-4 p.m. Friday through Sunday. Fee is $3, $1.50 for 6 to 18 and free for children younger than 5. The museum is at 38370 Point Breeze Road, Coltons Point, MD. Call 301-769-2222.

The exhibit will host dolls representing 14 different countries and include information about that country's holiday traditions.

This is located just about 15-20 minutes taking route 242 just north from the Side-Track store in Leonardtown which is off route 5. It's a nice drive to Coltons Point.

It's another thing to think about doing too.

Yea John I hear you...that would have been too long a haul. We need to do a Spring Eastern Shore and maybe the Ferry to your neck of the woods?

Great Photos "BigJim"! The 50's Diner Shot looks fantastic!

It was great seeing everyone again for the first part of January too...and to think we had the tops down during part our group cruise too! The weather was very cooperative considering the weather reports from the day before.
