NE Meet, Great & Eat
Well it looks like the weather is going to be sunny so how about another Sunday "Meet, Great and Eat" in a central location before the serious snow flies.
This will be an SSR and Prowler event.
The last one was in Northboro just off Route 9 and Route 495.
There were quite a few that came last time and if we do better this time then we may have a problem eating at the restaurant.
We can eat in shifts or if anyone lives in that area then I am open for suggestions.
This event is Sunday November 25, 2007.
I plan on being there around 11:30 AM.
Piccadilly Pub
508-366-9262
17 Connector Rd
Westborough, MA 01581, US
I have used Mapquest to find it and it is close but not exact. You must delete the restaurant name and street number when you do the directions. When you do the aerial view it is not where the red star shows you it is at. Instead of taking a right to the star, follow the road across Route 9 and it will be on your right.
If you are taking Route 495 North - Second Route 9 exit (23B)
If you are taking Route 495 South - First Route 9 exit (23B)
Up over the hill and take 1st right to lights (Computer Drive) - turn left at lights onto Computer Drive and cross over Route 9 to lights - restaurant is on right.

Sorry guys, I won't be able to make it. I have early Christmas with extended family at 1:00 on Sunday. And I really wanted you guys to see my new stainless grille, tailight rings and markers too!
Had a good time today, the weather cooperated and we all got a viewing of Dan's new trailor. Its nice, except it should be a nice pretty yellow!!!................

Meet & Eat !
What a Day !
- It was so good to get out and meet all of you for lunch. Charlie had his SSR with him so we had a really good conversation about the subtle changes I have planned for the Silver Ghost.
- I found it very interesting that the last time we had a get together at this location the SSR Auto's out numbered the SSR 6Spd's 4 to 1. This event there were 5 6Spd's and 1 Auto.
- To be honest, this was one day I wished that I was driving an automatic. Lately I've spent so much time in bed, a chronic lower back problem has resurfaced. Usually I can control my condition with Ibuprofen but my Leukemia doesn't allow me to take any OTC pain medication so I'm stuck on Oxycodone that controls the pain a little, but does nothing to control the spasms. This too will pass in time.

Hello fellow Fanatics,
Sorry we couldnt make the meet-n-greet. Red and I really enjoyed our Ticonderoga tour. Unfortunatly, Bertha is put away and the plates come off today. I dont mind rain,... but once the salt trucks mark thier teritory.... seasons over.
We look forward to the next Spring fling.
Your all good folks, perhaps we can still get together for a mid winter meet-n-greet. Our SSRs and Prowlers may be cast to winters slumber,.. dont mean we have to be.

Carl you missed one
Chick it was great to see you. None of us were expecting you to make it there so we were all surprised to see you.
I bet Jan wasn't expecting you to go either.
I have been waiting to hear your exhaust system. It sounds great. (Mike from AZ)
Can't wait for the supercharger to go on.
Hang in there my friend. We are all pulling for you.

- Sorry Charlie, I wasn't thinking. It's one thing to experience Mike's System from outside, but it's another thing to enjoy it from the drivers seat. The next time we meet, take the SilverGhost for a short (real short ) ride and check it out for yourself. By that time I should have the 14" brakes installed and the MagnaCharger whining. I'm so looking forward to the Maggie Valley Run in May.
- On the subject of Maggie Valley - We should establish an FRS Channel (Club Channel) for our use while mobile or while roaming the fairgrounds of events. I'm planning on purchasing at least two extended range units for use in the SSR - Maybe four if the price is right. How do we get a consensus on minimum range for the radio and preferred primary and secondary channels and their utilization. Would there be a requirement for a Net Controller for large turn outs ? What would be the criterion ? CQ SSRFANATIC, CQ SSRFANATIC, THIS IS CHICK LOOKING FOR WACOOL, I REPEAT, THIS IS CHICK LOOKING FOR WACOOL -
