Wink NE Spring Meet, Great & Eat

Well it looks like the weather outside is sunny so how about another Sunday "Meet, Great and Eat" in the same location.
This will be an SSR event but I will invite the Prowlers.
The last ones were in Westborough just off Route 9 and Route 495.

This event is Sunday April 13, 2008.
I plan on being there around 11:30 AM.

Piccadilly Pub
508-366-9262
17 Connector Rd
Westborough, MA 01581, US

I have used Mapquest to find it and it is close but not exact. You must delete the restaurant name and street number when you do the directions. When you do the aerial view it is not where the red star shows you it is at. Instead of taking a right to the star, follow the road across Route 9 and it will be on your right.

If you are taking Route 495 North - Second Route 9 exit (23B)
If you are taking Route 495 South - First Route 9 exit (23B)
Up over the hill and take 1st right to lights (Computer Drive) - turn left at lights onto Computer Drive and cross over Route 9 to lights - restaurant is on right.

Hope you can make it.
We are trying to get someone to watch the kids so Deb can go.

Now that we have planned something the weather is slowly going down hill.
The prediction was 58 and sunny on Monday, 53 and sunny yesterday and now they are saying 47 and cloudy.
These weather people get paid big bucks and have no clue as to what is really going to happen in advance.
Some can't even predict the weather when it is happening right out side.

If anyone wants to change it to the following weekend speak up NOW.

NE Spring Meet, Greet & Eat

Charlie,

My son and I had a blast meeting everyone and seeing all the SSR's & Prowler's last April and had been looking forward to the opportunity again this spring. Unfortunately we have a conflict on Sunday. If it does get postponed (yes the forecast does not look as good as it did a few days ago), we will try and make it. Hopefully we can get to at least one event this season.

Hope everyone has a great time!

Frank

We will be leaving here around 10:30.
I will give you a call when we leave and maybe we can meet on 495
Is your wife going?
Deb is coming with me so she won't be alone up there if she goes.

No Prowlers yet. They must be in hibernation.

Unhappy I want to postpone this event

to next Sunday the 13th. The weather is going to be cold, raw, cloudy with showers.

We spend most of the time there outside talking. I would prefer to do this on a sunny warm day than on a cold, raw and rainy one. I am sure others would agree. I will send out an e-mail to everyone.

Charlie

Well Charlie that SUX but I agree it's for the best. I thought that you had an inside track with Mother Nature. What's up with that? I look forward to next week then. :^)

Well the beginning of last week when I posted this the weather guessers said Sunday was going to be sunny in the high 50's.
It turned out to be cloudy, raining and in the 40's.

Well here we go again with another week.
Just hope it also works in reverse.
They are predicting cloudy, showers and in the 50's.
Maybe by the time Sunday gets here it will be sunny and in the 60's.

Yeah right.

Question Check the weather in the morning

It is obvious that after today the weather guessers that are employed at local TV stations don't have a clue.
It was supposed to rain all day today.
It was sunny in the low 70's ??? What is going on in their minds.

I am going to call Dan in the morning. He is going to call Chick.
I will send out an e-mail early if we decide to go.

If we go and you can make it then that is great.
The more the merrier.

Charlie
