NE! Summer is slipping by!

Everyone in the PA, NY, NJ, MD area... did you realize summer is slipping by and I'm feeling the need to be with my SSR family again real bad!

I'd love to see us plan a get together soon... even just a small thing like maybe an invasion of a small car show, or a day of exploration somewhere cool. I have several ideas on some 1 day or night events... here's some...

Saturday Night: Meet at the CHATTERBOX" drive-in restaurant in AUGUSTA N.J.. They have a cruise in every Saturday and it would be fun to invade with a good showing of SSR's!

NE PA Tour: Meet in the AM on a Saturday or Sunday, cruise out to Rickerts Glen. Hike up the trail a bit and see some wonderful waterfalls. Then Cruise the back-roads down to Knobles Park. Eat lunch. Ride a few rides and depart for the day. Knobles is a great FREE to get in amusement park full of classic rides and even a couple killer roller coasters. Food is good and the place is cheap by comparison to other parks. Could be a fun day of cruising and screaming!

The possibilities are endless... But given were all so busy I thought maybe a day or evening event might be in order...

Any thoughts? Preferences? Suggestions?

Come on... summer is slipping away!

Time is flying. I'm free on the 9th and 10th. Other than that, booked. Not sure about Labor Day Weekend. We usually go skeet shooting at at friends 25 acre property. Guns and food, lotsafun. I would go for either of your ideas.

We're available any weekend except for this weekend. (No longer working at the winery - a new development, but do need to see where we end up with Sophie over the next few days).

We'd be willing to make this an overnighter for us, as the past couple of weeks have been stressful for both us and need a bit of a break.

Let us know when and where, Michael.

Take care,

gang... Sunday the 10th is looking really good for a cruise for us!

The 9th we have a BBQ for family and friends here at the house... which by the way... I'd love nothing more than to see the front yard packed with SSR's! Unfortunately we're under construction here at the house (we live in a 1867 Victorian that were remodeling... slowly) but if people wanted to come over on the 9th that would be good. We'll be making some home made Mojito's on the back porch until the last man (or woman) is standing. Sunday would be cruise day to Rickerts Glen and then down to Knobles for some afternoon fun.

Is this sounding like a good plan to people???? Chime in... lets see how many Fanatics we can pull together for this!

We are in. Is there a hotel near you. We need to get away. I have a free night for a Holiday Inn. We would come out Sat. I have never been to Rickerts Glen. Sounds like a plan.
