NJ October Meet

I would like to know who would be up for getting together on Oct 14 before the winter sets in. We could meet at Big Ed's or if someone has someplace else to suggest. Let me know.

I'm in and

Maybe we can make it a little more accessible for the northern folk...and Eastern NY folk. Somewhere around where the Parkway meets the turnpike. And everything else comes in nearby (Rt 287, 440, 1, 9, 35) Woodbridge area, maybe. Bertucci's Brick Oven Pizza, Jose Tejas, and various other places, like Ruby Tuesday, Friday's, etc.

Mendy,

The 14th is good for me. I do not have golf planned. Harold's is a great place. Gigantic portions do not give justice to the size. Everybody will have to clean out their truck beds to carry their doggie bags home.

Mendy, Harold's deli you can buy one sandwich and we can all share. I'm game. There's nothing like a good corn beef or pastrami on rye bread with mustard.

Holy crap! For those prices, I would hope the portions are huge!

Cheeseburger .... $13.35
Cheesesteak ....$29.45
Hot Tongue Dinner (doesn't that sound tempting) ....$40.95

http://www.haroldsfamousdeli.com/

For a $30 cheesesteak and no Guinness...ummm....well, I'm in if everyone else is, but not really my cup-of-tea.

Don't let the prices at Harolds fool you, Shelly and I order 1 sandwich, split it and still take half home. If you like Corned Beef or Pastrami, then you need to try Harolds. All the meals are kingsize and will feed 4 people.
