That's what Texas falls and winters are like. When I moved her in 81 it was 80 degrees on Christmas morning. We've had snow here 2 times since I moved here and sticks just long enough to take pictures. We are about 60 miles South of where it usuallly gets ice or snow on the roads. The normal temp is 46/64 this time of the year. I've been thru Virginia many times and love the area. Have a great Holiday.

Still here. Enjoying the rather warm winter we are having in the Poconos.
No snow yet
Still am able to take Sloe out for sunny day cruises.
Wish it was summer again, miss going topless!

Started the first 12 years in Gales Ferry, CT.
Spent summers in Cranston, RI and East Moriches on Long Island, NY.
Took another 10 years or so living, working, going to school, in CT, NY, RI, NH (VA & KS too but that doesn’t count in this thread).
Was in Portsmouth, NH / Kittery, ME area for 10 years.
Now around Portland, ME for 20 years.
I keep trying to figure out where I would go if I didn’t live here and I haven’t come up with an answer. Guess I’ll stay right here!

HI EVERYONE, MERRY XMAS TO ALL! Well what can I say where did all the time go!

Born and rasied in New Jersey.. black sheep of the family, went to college in Cape Cod.

I own the land, looking for investors , developer etc.
Flew a bunch of airplanes and had fun... raced a Ocean racing sailing sloop (ten man crew) in the Caribbean sold boat last year.
Car projects: '56 corvette, '76 Corvette, '65 Alfa Romeo Spyder Veloce,

Greetings from Sue and Gary.

Hey to Cori and Bill.
I don't visit the Forum very often, but when I do, you always come to mind.
You two were such fanatically fantastic hosts when we attended the '10 parade.
God bless you in the New Year.

Hey Sue and Gary,..
we have a lot of fun putting on these events for our fellow fanatics... the hardest part is watching the last SSR drive away.
The event in Sturbridge is going to be even better

See you soon

Here in MD but not for long

Originally we were NewYorkers from Ozone Park in Queens.

Bought our 04 SSR living in MD in 05. Went to the final Chevy sponsered Home Coming in the summer of 05 (got to sign the SSR hood).

Over the years we went on a lot of great SSR runs here, but cut back the last few years since we were working on trying to move to AZ. We will make that happen this summer of 2012. We've bought a house in AZ and all we have to do is just move now.

So I thought we should get on this roll-call while we're still here on the east coast.

We'll miss our SSR friends here, but out in AZ we hope to be able to do more all year round with the SSR than we could here. We won't miss the winters.
