Sounds Great

This sounds like a great tour. I'm checking with the Mrs. on the dates. I hope we don't have anything else planned.

I'm looking forward to going but only if my wife, Jan, can get the time off and accompany me. We spend to much time apart so I work real hard at spending all the time I can with her as time is something none of us are guaranteed. That also includes friends of which I've found out that I have a lot more than I deserve. Just show up Dan and we'll have a ball !

I plan to be there. I will have a copilot if I can talk her into it. She don't care for the SSR (Ride)......But likes what we will be doing.

To All:

After talking with my wife Jan about our schedules it was determined that we could not make the Tour. We will miss being with everyone and will be looking forward to the next meet.

I try to hold one "G" back just in case! I think one less "G" makes it far easier to pronounce. Actually as a freshman in college I had to learn the name of the name of the lake. I panicked until I was told that it is actually Webster Lake.

Well Jamie are you gonna tell everyone what that means in the Nipmuc Indian language or are you just gonna leave them thinking we're nuts up here in MA and have a "G" fetish.

No Poppa, the name has nothing to do with your collective "G" spots! If it did, according to the women up there none of you men would be able to locate it!

Actually the locals have tried to attach a less hostile translation for the name over the years saying that it means: Englishmen at Manchaug at the fishing place at the boundary.

We were taught that it was named after the resolution of a dispute between the English and the Nipmuc over fishing on the lake and it became:
You fish on your side, We will fish on our side and nobody will fish in the middle!
The name just sort of rolls off the tongue

Sorry about the date,.. it was the only one left that had lots of openings so we can get a good deal. The usual cost at Eastover for a weekend for 2 is $580.
The deal we are getting ($430 per couple, $225 single) will only apply if we can get 15 rooms booked out.

Jamie,.. Where is the ...
"Chargoggagoggmanchaoggagoggchaubunaguhgamaugg""You fish on your side, We will fish on our side and nobody will fish in the middle" Webster lake?
.

So far we have

Webster Lake is in Webster, Mass near Dudley, :15 minutes from Sturbridge. Not worth the drive, just had an old memory flashback. It's an age thing!

Hey Fellow Fanatics,

Eastover will hold a block of rooms for this price for another 2 weeks. If we cant come up with the minimal 15 rooms by then the price will be $580/ couple.
Remember, the $430/couple and $225/single covers breakfast for Saturday and Sunday, Supper for Friday and Saturday, Entertainment for Friday and Saturday, as well as your room for 2 nights.

I set up the stay at this resort for historical atmosphere, But if the price is too much, please let me know. I can set up at a hotel instead. But when you do the figures over the 2 days, its not that much more to stay in one place for the weekend.

Please send feedback..

Wild Bill
