Philadelphia

Look Out Philadelphia - I'm scheduled to be there the week of Oct 1st thru 5th...

I've heard that The Green Valley Inn in Fairmount Park is a pretty nice place to dine - any local input?

How about Water Works near the Museum of Art? Good food there?

I'm staying out on City Line road.

Any other tips - advice? We are working out near the Eastern Philly airport on Roosevelt Blvd - lunch spots out there??? Chickie and Pete's???

The Water Works has just opened after a long closure. If you can get into Budican in center city it will be well worth it.

I'll try to get some info for you. NE Airport???...was a restaurant called 94th Squadron...not sure if it's still there. Was pretty good.

I'll do research and come back here.
If you plan to eat at the Waterworks...make reservations now. Not sure how booked up it gets.
Diner ...Chops on City Ave was recommended.
Center Center Phila...many to choose from. You are within a 1/2 ride from City Ave
Lunch.. Michaels Diner.. Haldleman & US1
In and around Phila.... Do not leave anything in sight in your cars/trucks. Anything. Cells/laptops/change/Ipods or anything worth 5cts or more.

Just bring your checkbook to Buddikan. Be sure to get an appraisal or estimate before you order.

Where ever you decide to eat in Phil, don't get any chicken wings
The latest news cast stated most places downtown were buying there chicken from a guy who worked out of his garage.
