There is one "special" picture from yesterday that I'm posting now. It seems now that many SSR runs have a Fanatic that is honored in some way, shape, or form. Can you guess who it was this run?
I know others will be posting pictures soon of Chocolate on Saturday and Covered Bridges on Sunday, but here are my contributions (for now).
Thank you to Kevin for the awesome job you did organizing, coordinating, and narrating. Thank you to Doug and Margo (Kristin and Justin) for opening your home Satuday night, and for playing local hosts to us. It is my own humble opinion that this run was a huge success!
Oh, and a big thank you to those of you who offered to either catch or pick up the pieces of the fool that took some of these pictures (most could only be taken while standing on the seat and facing backwards from a moving SSR).
I'm too tired to get my camera out of the truck and post up pictures. I didn't take that many of my own either (too busy yakking into the walkie talkie). I'll have to rely on everybody else to contribute again (not unlike like last year).

And it is for real too. Boggles my mind what people will cover with chocolate these days. I think WOW_FCTR was the first to buy some and try it. I don't recall hearing what he actually thought of it. What did Dave think of it?

Yes I had to buy Chocolate Covered Bacon just to try it out....and it wasn't too bad. It's a little salty and sweet, like chocolate covered pretzels.
I'll see if I remember to take a picture of it to post....

Hey blame Julie she gave me a camera with dead batteries and sent me up the clift....I think she is trying to get rid of me....
You were up there pretty High, would have been a nasty fall.
Then again, who was dumb enough to park on wet grass and try to slide into the brook?

Great picture, Claudia (and Kevin)! Didn't know the batteries were dead when he decided to play Spiderman and climb that hill.
Angelo - we made it home safe and sound in 3 hours. I have some pictures to share with you - please PM me with your or Bonnie's email address. And, if you got a good picture of Dave and me with your and our , I would be very grateful if you share it with us.
Sorry we missed the trains today - I have many relatives on my mom's side who retired from the railroad, so have close personal ties. Thank you for sharing your pics, Kevin. And hopefully there are more to come (Charlie? John and Suzie?)

Very creative, Doug! Sorry for logging you out of the Fanatic site Saturday evening - glad you remembered your password. Thank you for letting me use your pc to post the chocolate coated bacon pictures.

Yes, bungee cords are in order for next time, as Nautical wouldn't talk over the music to let me know when he was getting ready to go around a curve.
