Prowlers & SSRs !
I finally unloaded the pictures that were in my phone - There were some from a meet in the Spring that was attended by a group of Prowlers & SSRs. We meet at the same location that we did in the Fall for good conversation & food at the Piccadilly Pub located in South-Western Mass - Off of Rt. 495. It's always an interesting time when we have the opportunity to share our interest in unique vehicles with this group.
I hope all enjoy the pictures - Chick

I also have some pictures that I took of Poppa's (Dan) SSR as we were traveling down Rt. 495. I had the opportunity to meet with Dan and we traveled to the Grave-Site of a very dear person he knew so he could attach a metallic likeness of a Harley Davidson Motorcycle to his "marker". It was obvious that Dan had a special affection for this individual who dedicated so much of his life to riding Harley's. The rain did nothing to dampen our spirits and I thoroughly enjoyed listening to Dan talk about his friend.
I hope all enjoy the pictures - Chick

Chick:
Wow, what a neat group shot!
The SSR and the Prowler, they compliment each other so well, each so unique in its own way.
theres a guy in my neighborhood with a primered (silver ) prowler he has stopped by twice checking out my ssr . knuckle head if he was any brighter he would know we work at the same place and sometimes I park next to him

Cool pictures on the Belvedere. Can't beleave they left the battery in it when they buryed it! Maybe they exspected to drive it away when they unearthed it. I think the car would have been in better shape if they would have let it set outside in the weather for all those years.
They also buried a 1998 Plymouth Prowler in 1998, It is enclosed in a air tight aluminum container, that is pressurized with gas to keep it dry, It is located just outside of Tulsa, and will be opened in 2048. They believe the Belvedere was flooded by a water main break back in 1976, not far from where the car was buried. The time capsule that was enclosed in the vault, came out perfect, The steel was 3/4 inch thick, probably could have sat in water another 50 years without damage. http://www.autoblog.com/2007/06/24/v...-time-capsule/
