Question SNOW for HOLLOWEEN

Hows that for a crashing end to SSR Season....
We got 18" of snow on the back porch.
Some parts of Berkshire county got near 30".

Heres the kicker,.. just 3 days ealier they predicted 50s and sunny.... Were they looking at doppler reading from a month ago

Unless we get a couple good rain storms to wash the salt off the roads,.. It looks like our season is over

wild and wacky weather

we have been watching the plight of the Easterners on the tube and wondering just what it must be like to have to deal with such a mess. Out here in dry old Saskatchewan we have never in history had such a thing. Stoke the fire and get a hot rum going and hope for the sun to do its work I suppose. We are thinkin' about you if that helps.

Sorry Wild Bill

All we got was rain.
But I am sure the worst is yet to come.
Time to get the snow blower out of the shed.

Global Warming??? Yeah right.

Had to shuvel a path to the snow blower,.. It was still in storage...
...guess that will teach me to drag my buttox...

Thanks for thinking of us "Twooldfarmers".. We'er doing fine,.. we get these sneeky storms once ina while.. in 1987 we got 2 feet of snow on October 4th.

Gina,.. The weather is real screwy this year.. didnt ya'll get hit with a frost already?

CQQL,.. Yupper,.. we were the lucky end of the state... seems my county was the hardest hit... the thing that kept us clear from power outagest was most of the leaves already fell.

Thats it YellowDZH,.. rub it in...

Just a wee bit, which melted on Sunday. I hope we don't get any storms like the one that dropped 10" of rain and took out the covered bridges, this winter.

snow

I woke up about 6:30 to a dusting, but by 10am it was all gone. Hope to get the R out a few more times before the salt goes down.

Cool

We Got six inches here just 3weeks to the day after the C/CB run. Around us there was as much as 10inches. The total snowfall record here for Oct. Is 2.4 inches. Looks like time for winter mods to begin.

In Virginia? Why not stay in Virginia? We were in Martinsville for the NASCAR race, it was 60 there.

Got a couple pictures from up here in PA, could not believe what we “missed”.

Glad it was almost completely gone when we got home last night.

Hope this is not s sign of things to come.

People complain about our Harley Pipes now... I can imagine how many people we would P1$$ off when we ride by with chains smashing our fenders.
