Radiator Support

Radiator Support

Here are some pictures of the OEM (Plastic) Radiator/Frame Support.

And Mike in Az STEEL Radiator/Frame Support.

Cost $178.00

This mounts ON the Front End Frame rails and under your radiator.

The light colored support is the OEM Plastic support.

Notice the Steel support is exact fit and is predrilled for air dam. Much stronger than the OEM. Takes the "shimmy" out your steering wheel.
Take the Specs. to your Alignment Shop. Specs are in Factory tollerance.
And you will save enough on tires to pay for the support.

Alignment Specs.

Caster 4.25 +/- 0.5 Set to max and equal both sides
Cross Caster 0.0 +/- 0.3
Camber -0.5 +/- 0.5
Toe +0.1 +/- 0.2

Change Camber to 0 and change Toe to 0 to eliminate inner scuffing

I believe all these figures are in Degrees not inches

Dicktator
NOTE: IF you have a "Chin Spolier", you have reinforced your OEM radiator support and replacing it is not recommended

100% Stainless Tips

100% Stainless Tips

I now have Mike in Az 100% STAINLESS EXHAUST TIPS.

The are Custom made to Mike's specifications. They are 2 1/2" pipe opening to fit our Stock exhaust.

They are $140 per set.

Yes, twice the Cost of Bosal Tips, which is what I have on now, but 4 times the quality.

They are really NICE! I will have a set on my "R" for Tech Day.

Soundproofing

I have had several questions about soundproofing the roof compartment. When the top is up, behind both seats, there is a big hole into the roof compartment. The compartment acts like a ecko chamber and the road noice comes into the cab.

By soundproofing the roof compartment and the Vents, you will cut the road noise down conciderably.

1. How the noise gets in.
2. Removing vent.
3. Before soundproofing
4. Soundproofed w/Peel & Seal
5. Doing doors

Hope this helps.
