Hello New England
I know this is 4th of July weekend but I just figured I'd float a question out to you. How many of you are not going away, and might be interested in going to a meet and greet at the Picadilly pub on this Saturday or Sunday. If you have the time either day post here and we can see if there is enough interest to get something going.

Like I told you before Dan, you are going to love Florida.
There are a lot more SSR's there so getting together with others should be easier.

Maybe life is just at a faster paced up here. Lets let a few others get a chance to see this thread. and maybe it will fly. As far as you and me meeting for lunch name the time and place most times I can get the time off

I would love to get away. PA isn't really that far away, but as usual plans have been made. We are having a wood-splitting party of all things. Plus there is a pool nearby and a grill, so fun will be had by all.

We have a 4th of July party to go to on Saturday evening. I just went to the doctor today for my back so I probably couldn't do a trip in this condition anyway. T

I'm sorry to hear that your not fairing well right now. I hope you had a great time in Florida escaping the Winter. My wife and I have our home here in Hampstead, NH for sale and we will be building a new home in Lakeland Fl. We've decided that Florida is where we want to spend what time we have together in. I hope we have an opportunity to meet each other before we end up moving. You take care of yourself !

Lakeland, FL?? I didn't know that is where you are going. A very old friend of mine (42 years) lives there. Now I will have two reasons to visit there.

Jeff has asked about an alternate site. If anyone has any ideas get them out here. The Piccadilly Pub is a ride fo all but it is fairly central and has lots of parking.

Saturday & Sunday are out for us, we could probably do Friday but I'm sure that is a bad day for most everyone else.

You asked earlier about a possible alternative spot - don't know if anybody is interested, but there is a new Ted's Montana Grill (yes, Ted Turner's restaurant) just a couple of miles away from Picadilly Pub, they have a pretty diverse menu - and they serve bison burgers/steak if anyone is interested.

Not here. It is about 85, sunny, slight breeze, no rain and beautiful. People are running around buying barbecue bricks, beer, wine, boating, etc.
