2nd car show today

We put the SSR in our second car show today. It was the Gilbert, SC Peach Festival. Sorry to say we didn't place. We were beat out by a bunch of Mustangs. We were the only SSR there and had LOTS of comments on it. The judges didn't like it, but all of the kids loved it. Had lots of fun and it was worth it just to see the kids smile and say "WOW THATS COOL"

One little boy came up and was looking at it and his mom told him to "Stay away from that CAR". The little boy corrected her and he said " No Mommy, that's a TRUCK not a CAR!" We loved it....

That sounds like fun. I am going to have to put entering a car show on my "to do list".

car shows

Up here their are no Car shows for something new, unless extremely modified.
The shows are generally set for 20 years old, or older. Unless it's a brand event like all Corvette show or all Mustang show, where that entire brand participates.
This is why our SSR gatherings are needed.
