We would like to invite everyone to our house Sept 24, 2011 for our annual BBQ..We have been eating early afternoon. We will set the actually time closer to the day. Chef Mike will be cooking on the open pit in the side yard. As those who have attended know , we usually eat and visit in the yard.. Last year it rained, really rained but we didn't let it dampen our fun.. For those who stayed late, the sun did come out and we enjoyed the leftovers in beautiful weather..
Now that the date is set, I need to know if anyone is interested in coming in on Friday or staying over Saturday night. Nearest hotels are in Athens, Ga about 12 miles from Arnoldsville. Both the Holiday Inn and the Holiday Inn Express are located in downtown Athens with easy access to highway 78E(the route to Arnoldsville). Dinner or Friday or breakfast on Sunday could be an option.
Some of you toured George Bugg's car collection last year. Mostly Fords, but we want hold that against him If enough people are interested, we might be able to arrange a cruise to his place on Saturday morning before lunch..
Looking forward to seeing everyone in September..

This is always a great time!! You guys put in a LOT of work and everyone has a GREAT time. Just want to say THANKS and put us down on the list I think an early cruise to Georges place would be fun, he probably has a few new ones since I was there a few years ago.
We look forward to this every year. A great time is had by all. Please put us down as attending, we won't get lost this year got directions down now. We did though get to see every street in downtown Athens last time. Jody & Chuck
Turns out that Puchi and I will be in Omaha, NE visiting with the grandkids!! As y'all know, the grandkids take precedence over everything else!! Know it will be a great time and we are real bummed that we will miss it!!

Hi guys, it was great seeing you this afternoon. The swelling from the bee sting was down by the time we got home. As always we look forward to attending one of the N. Ga. gangs outings. Especially the Arnoldsville Grill!

Sorry we won't be able to attend
We are planning to head to Florida the week after Labor Day. We didn't get to spend much time in our new house in the Villages last spring. I hate to miss it because it is always a great event with lots of good food and fellowship, Maybe next year we won't be so anxious to get back to Florida.
