Atlanta 4th Annual Cool Car Festival??

Hi,
The local car show circuit started yesterday, I received a trophy despite all the dust and dry grass floating in the air from all the traffic. Even took the SSR down the 1/4 mile during the show as all the entrants had free passes down the track for 2 hours. I only made 2 runs, the best was a 13.99 that left my friends Dodge Ram in the dust .... I waved but he didn't see me

Anyway, the next show that looks interesting is at Stone Mountain GA next week, anyone going? Looks like it might be fun, an onsite dyno, burnout contest, a few nice perks for the entrants (free park passes, etc.) Has anyone ever been to one of these events before???

Mike, Congratualtions on the trophy, where was this show ? I'd like to do some with you this year, but I'm going down island this week, so can't make it.

The show was at the Reynolds dragway. It was my first time there and I wasn't sure if I was going to go due to the rain issue but it turned out nice.

Thanks, they had a trophy for the fastest pass, I had all the cars there beat except for one 65 Mustang that was tubbed, caged, BB motor, etc... oh well

Hi Jeff,
Actually the track is in Reynolds GA and is named the Silverdollar Speedway which is located about 20 miles West of Macon. Where are you located? Have time to swing by the Stone Mountain show this weekend?
