MACE(Mike and Carol) and GRANDMA (Ellen and Arthur) would like to invite everyone to join us for an old fashion pig pulling on Nov. 8, 2008. Although this is the monthly gathering for Georgia fanatics, we would like to extend this invitation to all fanatics who would like to attend. We live in Arnoldsville Ga. which is east of Athens (15 miles) or Atlanta (80 miles). Mike will be preparing the pig on an open pit and we want to start serving between 1:00 or 1:30. We can meet and greet both before and after our meal. Anyone who can attend, please post here or send me a pm. Ellen

Miss Jan and I and the Smokin' Richochet will be there!
Think Arthur can get the drive way (or road in) paved before then??? Dust on the R's Yuk! It might be a traffic jam with the entry speed when we are all lined up on the road!
Get a list of dish bringers up on your original post. Not fair for you to do all the work! What can we bring???

Sounds fun and not that far from us, but thats the week-end of the Marine Corps birthday (Nov 10th) and there is a local benefit golf tournmament for wounded Marines from the Iraq war that Saturday. I have volunteered my time for that already. Not golfing , just helping serve food, clean-up or whatever they assign me to do.
Note to Mike and Carol - sorry can not make it - having problems with ssr, took it to dealer sat. before octoberfest at silver springs - they said nothing wrong - an hour later same thing happened. all brake warning lights came on - drove home anyway. Will be taking it to dealership monday and see what they say. Hope to see you in daytona if my ride is up and running
Harvey & Patricia
Sorry to hear about your problem with the R. We would still love to have you. Several fanatics are planning on coming but will not be driving their SSR.
