BUFFY is a WEENIE!

Now, you may here this vicious rumor from the folks who attended the Tail of the Dragon Run in Maggie Valley, NC., but I would like to explain myself......

I have run the Dragon of the Dragon (318 turns in 11 miles) two years in a row on my Harley and both times it scared the S@#$ out of me. After the beautiful ride that GINA lead us on Friday throughout the Blue Ridge Mountains, you could tell that the old testosterone was kicking into all of us, making us go faster and faster to a point where some of us (make that Devastator!) was SIDEWAYS in the turns! I just knew that someone (me!) was going to hurt their baby if I went to the Tail of the Dragon.

Friday evening after the cruise, I asked around a few of the fanatics regarding if they were going to run the Tail in the morning. Three (3) members stated that if it was wet, they weren't going to run it, so I said that I'd stay back with them.

Well, Saturday morning arrives and it is RAINING outside, but Pat (Mrs. Buffy) and I went out to wish the brave souls who were going to try it good luck. As we were standing there waving to he last SSR (HotRodGirl), I turned around to see what the other three (3) fanatics wanted to do............

EVERYONE had left to go to the Dragon! EEK!!!!!

Well, by the time it would have taken me to take off my pink Barbie pajamas (with matching slippers!) I would not have been able to catch up.

Well, about that time Nosepicker's wife (Annette) asked me if I wanted to go golfing with her (she must have thought I was on the LPGA tour) and I said "YES!"

Just a quick shot of the beautiful course almost across the street from GINA and Danny's place......

I was hounded to death the rest of the weekend by my so called friends!

So, there you have "the rest of the story."

But you know, after seeing it in print, maybe I was a weenie!

And as for this year, you just saved having to wash your SSR after like we had to.

This is very close to the truth

All kidding aside, Buffy's not making the run can be attributed to sleeping in.
We had all left before he woke up!
As always he was the life of the party, and was spotted painting somethinge 'Blue" on Devastator's SSR, not the act of a weenie!

Buffy just wanted more tickets since Big Jim bought all those that he did!!!!
