Last week at the M/V Rally, one of the SSR's had chrome grille inserts.
These inserts were chrome, NOT stainless.
Does anyone know who the owner of that SSR is?
I'd like to order a set for my SSR but I cannot find them on our forums or on E-bay.

Look like mine? Ebay. I think Gary had some too. Around $100. vetteman62 - 4th down on our venders list. Florida Stainless Steel. He has more bling for the buck than any vendor I do business with. pm Gary. I got my chrome 'Chevrolet' grille piece from him too.............(of course if you use the above Search engine, you can read how to install and other tips for the inserts. Some very funny methods and means for install. copchris!)

Any help would be appreciated.
I'm not positive, but I believe that it was fanatic "Handyman Fowler" (redline SSR with matching trailer) that had the chrome grille inserts.
The grill pieces weren't too badly priced but shipping & handling was a little pricey..still less than $100.00.
These are chrome --not stainless steel.

Gary,
The link below is from the grille4u site. According to the description it's a black satin powder coating with a shining polished face. Is your set all chrome?
In the "middle" insert on the set that I got.
The "V" could be a little "steeperer/deeper" but then again, it could be the OEM fascia that's off a bit.

Either way, I can live with it

Hi,
I am adding these suggestions to the Instructions that come with the grilles.
To me, the grilles look better if they are mounted flush or slightly protruding. This covers up your paint.
In order to do this, you will need something to use as spacers and longer screws. You may need from 1/4" to 1/2" of spacers to get the look as shown in my pictures. The longer the screws, the easier to install because of attaching the nut easier.
I also had to bend my grilles to form to the curvature of my SSR
slightly. I have found that some do not have to be bent at all
during our installations here.
The bottom two are not any problem to bend but the top one has two bars cut out so you will have to be very careful if you have to bend it so it does not buckle in two. If it does, just use care to use
something that will not scratch the billet in order to pry the two middle bars open and straight. I used a large wood paint stick.
If I can help you with any questions, just call me on my cell phone,
