Dragon Tail Weekend, the REST of the Story

She got up and as she was about in the middle of the crowded room, I yelled, "Hey everyone, Leanne has to go to the bathroom, so we can't start until she gets back!" We ALL laughed!

But while she was gone, we decided to give her a surprise. When she returned, we waited until she was in the middle of the room again and then gave her a standing ovation! She was BRIGHT RED!

I am officially requesting that she join our forum with her own screen name that goes with OP.

Doesn't PP sound appropriate?

Buffy,

In waiting for the desert, was it the Mojave or the Sahara? Funny story.

Well Buffy I wasnt gonna share this with everybody to save you some embarrasment but since you picked on the lovely LeAnne (aka, Mrs. OP)
I feel it is appropriate.
Plus I just finished scraping the blue paint off the parking spot bumper you spilled while messing with Devasatators balls.

You all know that Buffy stole my bedspread over the weekend (check the Buffy is a weenie thread for that story)
Well I went to charge him for it today and looked what happened.

More stories

Ok....since everyone is telling embarrassing stories, I'll throw out another embarrassing one......one that involves.......

wait I better tell my side of my story before someone else makes me embarrassed.

Saturday night after the picnic and raffle and (for me) a little too much to drink, I turned in for the night. About 5 minutes later there's a knock at the door. Danny (Mr Gina) tell me to call Marilyn (my mom). I turn on my cell phone and try to find a spot where I actually get a signal to find that there are 10 messages there all from Mom. The first one is "hi, what are you up to?". The last one is "I'm really worried that you haven't returned my calls. I hope you're not dead." The rest are somewhere in between.
I had told her that I was going to Maggie Valley to meet a bunch of other SSR owners. That's all I said. She wound up calling one of my brothers to ask if I told him anything (which I didn't), but he got online and searched for "Maggie Valley SSR" and found this site. Then he says "hey there is someone on here named WOW_FCTR, think that could be him?" So now they have Gina's hotel phone number AND they can read EVERYTHING I've ever posted here. (sorry MOM).

I had my phone turned off because I couldn't get a signal and when I did it was roaming......SO the lesson learned here is ALWAYS tell your mommy where you are going and call her every day otherwise she may find out what you are really up to!!!! On the versa-visa side (those of you who are parents and your kids don't call you), you can always embarrass them by calling them somewhere at midnight and say "I'm XXXX's Mom or Dad and I would like to talk to them because they haven't called today"

Now I can't remember anything embarrassing about anyone else

That explains the email I got from SSR-Club.
I posted parts of it below. I just replied the # to him and went to bed. Danny didnt tell me about knocking on your door. I was wondering who this pertained to.
Not only do I have to throw the party, I have to babysit to.

From: Rxx Axxxx xxxxxxx@juno.com May 20, 2006

Trying to find contact numbers for Maggie Valley event as brother has not responded to cell phone calls from mother (atypical). Figured this might be a good lead for such numbers.

Mr. Rxx Axxxx, I have passed this message on to other SSRFanatic members in hopes they can reply to your request. I wish you well and hope your Mom is able to get in touch with her son soon.... Let me know if I can help you further.

So I was told that Danny was looking for someone named WOW WOW (not Wow Factor) and I didn't think much about that UNTIL.......

on the way home I was passing a truck that was dirty on the back and someone had scrawled in HUGE letters WOW WOW (that's it) in the dirt. I almost stopped him and asked him if he had something for me
