I'm Glad I Was Logged On To Be Sure This Is Correct.

Mike I shaked your hand as most men do...

I hugged your wife, Marianne. I'm a "southern gentlemen".

That's "Both Ways". ie: handshake for men, Hugs for women...

Although, I can Peeeeee in Georgia and Alabama at the same time.

Remember, I'm mostly Baptist, eat Fried Chicken and Grits, and Hug (female only)

If you can't hang with the Bad Azz group slaying the Dragon that's the next best thing.

I'm in! Maybe with both (,), but I'm not entirely sure if the will be making the journey to MV yet.

Can I reserve the spot in front of NYY? George likes driving behind me.

Just posted this on the Maggie Valley thread, but it may be even more crowded on the the tail as the MINIs will be there too.

MINIs on the Dragon 2008
As you are probably aware this year's MINIs on the Dragon is April 30 through May 4, 2008. The good news is that there are more than 20 different activities during the event...from an autocross to MINI Monte Carlo Night and more. The bad news is that registration is WAY down compared to previous years and the major events were designed to handle large numbers of people. Since we are quickly approaching deadlines for rentals and financial commitments needed to support the event we need to see an immediate increase in registrations for the event. Unfortunately because of the cost involved in putting on many of the events if registrations don't increase will will have to scale back the events in some way.

With the above in mind I would ask that if you are already planning to attend MOTD but have not yet registered please do so now. If you have already registered THANK YOU! Please encourage your motoring friends to register as well!

Decisions have to be made next week so your registration for the event, dinners, first ever car show, MINI Monte Carlo Night, Brew Swap, and other activities will help shape this year's event. Given all the work that the coordinators have put in to make this the best MOTD to date I would hate to see it scaled back based on lack of attendee support.

To learn more about MINIs on the Dragon and registration please visit the following URL:

MINI COOPER :: North American Motoring - 2008 MINIs on the Dragon (April 30-May 4, 2008)

Alliance Magazine Cover Contest
In keeping with the MOTD theme we have launched a photo contest for the next cover of the NAM Alliance Magazine. If you have a great image from a previous MINIs on the Dragon event submit it and, if chosen, you'll not only get your image on the cover but you will also receive $50.00! For more information on the contest click here.

If you haven't checked out the Alliance member program or the current issue of the Alliance Magazine take a minute and give it a test drive.

Again, thanks for your support of NAM and of the 2008 MINIs on the Dragon. We hope that you'll join us for four days of motoring fun and camaraderie!

Best regards,

Mark Ferguson

You can put Cruzned and his wife Kris down for the 10AM ride as long as it does not interfere with other events the fanatics have scheduled.

It does not interfere with the other events....(well except that you can only choose 1 of 3 cruises on Friday. This one, Mt Pisgah, and Chimney Rock/Lake Lure)

Can we run them over? They're about the size of a PA pothole!

It will be like having flies buzzing around in the lions den!
