Home Depot Expo & Car Show

The local Home Depot here in Palm Coast is having an Expo and Car show this Saturday, the 25th. They are worried that since Lowes is coming into town soon they have to do something to keep customers. The flyer says there will be workshops, prizes, entertainment(live band), appearances by Miss Florida and car show. The local corvette club is one of the listed sponsors.
I plan on bringing my SSR there to show it and dittonzssr is planning on joining me.
If any of you locals, or even out-of-towners, want to join in the show or just stop by to say hello you are welcome to join us.

The store manager said this was a first for him and is hoping it will be a lot of fun. If not he may be transferring to Lowes.

Got back from a nice time at Home Depot's car show. About 100 cars showed up for people to admire. Some nice give-aways and goodies were raffled off.

And the highlight of the afternoon was when we talked Elizabeth into entering the ice cream eating contest. I forgot to tell her that no hands were allowed before she volunteered.

Last shot is next cover girl for the HRPT.

And for all that she got a $5 gift card.
We all had a good time.

they are planning on doing a combo bike /car thing in oct.,since it is so far from our place (.7mi.)from the house we will have to take both!.
