Hurricane...not U.M....
It's that wonderful time of year in South Florida...Where are ya'll going to put your hot rods for another blow. Looks like Ernesto's knockin at our back door
It's my first hurricane season with my baby and last year Wilma sent my kids trampoline into my Avalanche! Forget the garage, the generator that hasn't been installed from last year is on a palette right in the middle. Any ideas?
They all said retire to sunny Florida.
I did, and now im totally retarded.
BlackSSR03 is in the garage, next to his red 86 300zx, cowering and despondent.
Generator are at the ready.
ITS SIT AND WAIT FOR THE BIG BLOW.
Anyone want to move to Boca, buy a couple of houses and let me move to a safe place like Tel Aviv?
OYE VIE
Sandy,
BlackSSR03

Get to work... Been there done that. Drove out when Charley was coming in. Now living in the land of perpetual traffic and earthquakes.
Get plenty of charcoal, also chicken and hamburgers cooked and put into the freezer, thaw as needed for those meals when power is out. Beer can be cooled with a co-2 fire extinguisher if ice gets low. Hopefully you have a garage covering the Silver member of the family! Put a rope on the pallet and pull it out of the way. We are busy here, moving the Space Shuttle off the pad to its 'garage' and getting in line at the Walmart liquor store

I went through Andrew and still would take a 'cane over an earthshake anyday! At least we know ahead of time that we're in the "cone of doom"....I have my hurricane supplies too. Several brands of tequila, carton of smokes and the grill has plenty of propane! :

Whether the weather be fine, Whether the weather be not, Whether the weather be cold, Whether the weather be hot, We'll weather the weather, Whatever the whether, Whether we like it or not”

I hear you. Been there done that for 'canes. Been here done that for 'quakes. Earthquake supplies are similar. You just need to be stocked up year round!

We don`t have a garage either. Got the blur parked out front away from any trees with the Ram blocking for it. This one doesn`t look to bad, though. I raise and breed exotic gamefowl. I`m more worried about them drowning than I am about the vehicles. Everything is as safe as I can make it
This is a non-event......just some rain......and a little breeze......If they don't get any worse than this......We'll be fine........The Weather Channel just couldn't work this into something worse no matter how hard they tried. Now 2004 was something else.......I had 1 come within 10 miles and 2 others go right over me......Boy wasn't that a party.....3 bottle blow

Whitewolf is right, Jim Cantori was dry at the last update. We turned the Shuttle around and its back on the pad for Sept launch. Even the surfers have had a mild morning. I remember 04, lost the roof. This is to get ready for the Noles Monday night.
