Maggie Valley 2007 May Run

Just wanted to chime in here and inquire about the 2007 Spring Rally for Maggie Valley. I realize that with new events and established events that people will certainly want to mix it up and go to new places. Some prefer to stay closer to home.

This is not the official thread for the 2007 Maggie Valley Run. (I will start that sometime in February probably)

I just want to see what kind of interest I will have in it.
The tentative dates are the weekend of May 18-20.

I plan on the same ride up to Pisgah Inn and having lunch as we did on Friday of last year. That one is hard to beat.

Saturdays ride will not be the dragon tail though. I have not decided on what it will be yet but it will be some of the more off beaten paths that I know.

Also Dannys Bar-B-Que will be on the menu for that Saturday night again.

Just post if you think your interested in this event so I can get a feel for what to expect.

As of right now, I plan to make it, but it will depend on work schedule and if I can swing it with National meet the next month.

Might have to skip the Honda Hoot in June and attend this one instead. How far are you from Deals Gap? Went there in 2005 and had a blast on the Triumph during the Hoot.

I would like to come, Last year my wifes father had heart surgery and I did not want to leave her. Unless something like that happens again I am in for sure. May have to travel alone if the wife is busy at work. Hopefully I can find some folks to hang out with. 80 miles (FYI, dragon run same thing as Deals Gap)
