DO NOT CALL THE MAGGIE VALLEY INN AND TRY TO REGISTER OVER THE PHONE. YOUR RESISTRATION FORM WILL NOT GET FILLED OUT AND THIS IS VERY CONFUSING FOR ME. I NEED THIS FORM SO THAT I CAN KKEP UP WITH WHO IS SIGNED UP FOR THE BANQUET. THE CLERKS HAVE BEEN INFORMED NOT TO TAKE YOUR PAYMENT OVER THE PHONE
We are doing an "International Food Festival" this year with four stations instead of the traditional buffett. We thought this would be a fun way to try all sorts of food. The charge is $27
The Valley Inn (located directly across the street from me)
The Maggie Valley Inn and Conference Center (located within walking distance, location of our banquet/supper on Saturday night)

Ok, so if I wasn't used up enough last year, I will do the shirts again. IF ... a big IF, Gary G doesn't want to. This was his gig first, so I will yield to him (or anyone else for that matter who wants the fun and excitement of T shirt coordination! It's a barrel of monkeys!)
Lets start collecting art work though!
Gina we should coordinate that with your Banner too, and you have an art work "guy". That was the big hitch last year. I took it on so late, that we had to use the 08 art work. We certainly don't want to do that again.
Anyway, I will be there.
Also, Gina, I know I am on the second string (as usual, I am the guy with the bucket and shovel behind the circus) for one of the fine rooms on the Laurel Valley Inn, but put me down, then let me know about other accommodations, If I need to make a plan B.
Are we using the MV Inn again? Think they can get their $hit together?
G,
PM me about the room.
B

I have had several inquires about MV 2010 so I figured I better get my butt in gear and get a thread started!!! I will start on details in November as soon as my Fall season is over. I will be working on more options for lodging this year also.
I have'nt started the plans yet but ya'll know the drill
Meet and Greet on Thursday at my place (pizza and margaritas), A nice ride and lunch on Friday through the mountains.
I was thinking of doing the car show on Friday instead of Saturday morning this year. (if Alex and the gang are up for it again) I have a lot in Maggie Valley (Judes Ice Cream shop) that will let us hold it there.
Saturday is a very eventful day and a car show/ride/and banquet are all hard to do in one day. The mountain rides are the best part to me so I dont want to have to cut that short.
We could swap the car show to Friday evening around 5ish so that Saturday is not so rushed.
IF ANYONE WANTS TO VOLUNTEER TO DO T-SHIRTS LET ME KNOW!!! I dont have time to do that and I know the question is going to be asked. You can pick the color, design and the color of the SSR you want on it if you volunteer to do it!
