Hello everyone. I have updated the attendee list.
I am in FL on winter vacation and when I get home I am going to start work on banquet info and on our cruises through the mtns.
For the newbies: This is how I work the rally every year. I do most of the leg work when we return from FL vacation as the oldies know. So look for info to come soon ......

I have finally completed my lap quilt tops for the Rally. I will be taking them to the quilter on Monday. She said she is backed up but that she can finish them for me by May. Instead of doing just one I decided that I will make two lap quilts. One will be for the Hillbilly costume party as explained in post # 1 of this thread:
The other one will be in the raffle. The lap quilts are going to be approximatley 60 X 40 when completed. When I get them back from the quilter I will be putting the binding around each quilt and they will be complete.

I have the banquet plans ready! The menu is going to go along with the hillbilly them of the Rally this year. (Dont forget to wear your hillbilly attire as posted in post # 1 on this thread. You will be eligible to win a SSR themed quilt made by me if you dress properly) Me & Danny are cooking the pork. The old timers may remember we cooked the pork the first two rallies also. The menu is simple therefore I was able to keep the cost down some this year.
Cost per person: $15.00
Menu:
Pulled BBQ Pork
Baked Beans
Cole Slaw
Hushpuppies/Rolls
Corn on the Cob
Banana Pudding
Cobbler
Coffee, Tea, Water, Soft Drinks
