Maggie Valley Rally "SWAP MEET"?

I know it's been suggested before... but I was wondering if anybody will be bringing extra SSR items for a possible Swap Meet. I'm planning on bringing my old OEM Tips and partial pipes left over from my Magnaflow install ( free or will trade to someone)!.

Most of us will be attending the Truck Show ( all corralled together, looking for more to do) at the Maggie Valley Rally anyway and this would be a great opportunity to exchange, trade, barter, or buy those extra items we might need.

Just a thought.

Good Idea

I'll be bringing a hitch that I thought I just had to have (bought last year from fellow fanatic at Woodward) and plan to sell it. I'm sure others will have stuff they want to add also.

Just so you know, Marty, this post just got the usually very thoughtful man in my life in trouble. He uses Pig Snot on his two-wheeled, motorized baby. I'm now wondering why he doesn't use it on my .

On second thought, never mind - I guess if he's the one applying the product, I shouldn't complain, huh!

Thanks for the tip, anyway. See you in MV!

That's more than just a thought.....that's a great idea. I know of at least 3 SSR fanatics/parts vendors that will be there, and I know a couple of guys who talked to me about bringing stuff to sell or trade. In Springfield last year where we had a notice board up with items listed on it that folks had that they were wanting to sell or trade. I guess like at many swap meets, we could lay out and display what we have at the car show.

Now we just need to run it by our hostess, Gina, for her approval!

Voting in our own show, having our own swap meet, and just snooping around at all the vehicles there, SSR or not, will give us plenty to do.

What do you think Gina?

Gina,

I say by we default elect the guy who first suggested the idea of a swap meet.....Gary G!

Sounds pretty fair to me. That'll teach him to make suggestions!

What do you say, Gary?

Yeah he does. I can tell you he wasn't too happy the first time we got it either. But now he is sorta settling into the rythym of things, and getting used to that hose Marty sticks in his snout.

By this summer he has plans for a "Double Buster Pig Snouter" I think i heard something about a franchise.

Ed,

That's a good point that I overlooked. So I guess we will not be displaying our items in swap meet type type fashion at the truck show. Like I said, we could get a poster board kind of thing going, say located at Gina's motel pavilion, for folks to list what they have to sell or trade.

Swap Meet

I will have a complete SATIN interior ,red 06 gauge packageand a case of Rod & Custom Show Gloss Cream . I am wondering if we could use Gina's Back Yard For the Swap Meet? I carry 2 six foot and 2 four foot tables in the motor home that we could use.

Anybody have a need for "Domed" decals? I'm planning on making a batch for the swap meet. I'll probably bring some SSR tailgate letters and "Bowties" for the wheel caps along with the "Domed SSR Fanatic Decal" (pictured near my signature) in 4 different sizes.

...just a thought.

I can bring these along too. They might need some sanding and smoothing out because of scratches, etc..

I'm so disappointed. I've already got a real wooden bed, with wooden strips to hold up the mattress.
