I finally finished the first of three videos I have planned for Maggie Valley. It is taking a little longer to compose the videos with the extra footage from the GoPro Hero Cams. I should have done these in cronological order, but I couldn't wait to work on the Dragon's Tail Run. So here is the first video for 2008 :
Brian, good job.!! I particularly like the split-screen front and back images. Us multi-taskers look for that sort of thing. Nice job!
Anxiously awaiting your next video. Thanks so much for putting your personal time on hold to share your footage with us...

I am attempting to watch the video but it keeps stopping every few seconds. Is it just me or is anybody else having this problem? I have it in hight quality. BTW, its looking great Brian. Fantastic job.

Turned it nice for me in high quality. But I am on Verizon FIOS.

No problems with DSL in high quality...great video, almost like being there as my stomach started getting woozy with all those curves. If we make to MV in the future, remind me not to take the run

Ahhh, could be the mountain water you are drinking.
Just a thought.

Another great video project Brian. I liked the little kick back you put in the middle of the big screen about half way through and as always a wonderful choice of music.

Same problem here too. What you do is let it run the full 9 minutes time then reply it again and then it should work just fine.

Randi, it's a whole lot different when you have the wheel in your hands.... Let Tim have the camera and you do the downhill. OR, you can even let HIM do the up hill and You take the pictures. Either way, "It's a Right of Passage" in the area, for sure. Betty "Bulldog'd her way out, and I "snailed" my way back thru the "Tail". Either way, it was a Flat, Blast!!!

It's awesome - as long as you're the driver!
Brian - great production! I love how this is viewed from the passenger's perspective. Now I know how my passenger (Nautical Dave) felt on the first pass. (Oh, wait, I learned that on the way back to Maggie Valley, since I relented and let him take the wheel - so glad there were SSR's in front of us.)
Thanks Brian ...
Brings back two year old memories, of Maggie year one run.
Except there is no Devastator sideways in front of me or red trail blazer behind me.
Thanks everyone!!!! Hopefully the next few will go a little faster. It is tough to keep the different videos from each of the cameras in sync. I didn't think the differnect frame rates that the cameras recoerd would make a differnce, but it does. This should keep me challenged this year, but that is what make this so fun. Not quite as much fun as doing the actual runs and meeting everyone though.
I'll keep updating this thread with the upcoming videos.
I also have footage from the Wine Run we did a couple of weeks ago, and with the Potomac Valley Run coming up, I'll add those in the NE section when the time comes (hopefully before christmas!!!)
Brian

Got some tech support from midnightrider and problem solved.
Great job Brian. I liked the back pedaling at the beginning. Also, great song choices. Now I need a curve fix!!!!
