I would like all available soundproofing and the radiator support. I was hoping to learn how to install the ignition switch too. O well maybe next year.
Dictator, I will also help out with labor on other Rs if needed.
Here are some pictures of the OEM (Plastic) Radiator/Frame Support.
And Mike in Az STEEL Radiator/Frame Support.
This mounts ON the Front End Frame rails and under your radiator.
The light colored support is the OEM Plastic support.
Notice the Steel support is exact fit and is predrilled for air dam. Much stronger than the OEM.
Takes the "shimmy" out your steering wheel.
And you will save enough on tires to pay for the support.

A Connection to Maggie Valley
I would love to some day make to Maggie Valley but can't this go round. I have a connection to Maggie Valley though, as I am related to Maggie. Her daughter Patty Pylant Kosier, my cousin, wrote a book "Maggie of Maggie Valley, N.C.". Maybe some day.

Don't hear enough from you. We live in Conroe and do allot of shopping in The Woodlands. Lunch, sometime, would be fun with you, yours, John (Houtex, Judy, me and Mary (wife).
Can you do the front hood lifts on my 2004 SSR? Like the hood lifts that Chevy put on the 2005/06 SSR? What would the cost be with parts? Can you provide the lifts and parts needed?

Seriously? This is the first I've heard of this. I need to look back at previous threads. So your saying that this stiffens the front end up so much that the shimmy is eliminated along with the excessive front inside tire wear as well? If this is true then I'm no longer going to wait until my support is broken before I replace it.
Here is some pictures of different types of cross member/braces.

Bagger, the above ref cross member helps with the shimmy too. IMHO

The two things that I need are:
1) getting my center console to open and then to keep it from getting stuck closed. I tried a fix, but it did not work
2) keeping water from seeping into my passenger side door and affecting the speakers and door lock. I am not sure what materials I would need for this.

I personally would love to see/have a tech session on raising the top manually. I'm always concerned that as much as I work the top down and back up, that one day it will not go back up on its own and I will be "SOL", because right now I don't know how it's done manually (I do have the T-bar tool).
Anybody else interested in knowing how to raise the top manually?

I could handle showing anyone how to do it.

Right now I know of at least 4 of us (probably more) that would be very interested in a first hand demonstration. We may be fighting over who gets to be the "demo" vehicle.

I would be intrested in this also. I can help with some of the install stuff too. I think I am qualified to help out as I am a ASE Master auto tech with over 32 years exp.
