Nashville to Maggie Valley caravan

We have 9 SSR's leaving on may 1st at 9:00am from Nashville and if anyone coming from the west that wishes to join us let me know, the more the merrier. we will be meeting at I-40 and route 109 (about 15 miles east of Nashville) at the McDonald's. so for we have the following people going. we are going to meet up with the KY group in Knoxville on the way to MV.

Sounds like a great plan. I have relatives in the MV area and we are still trying to see if we can coordinate schedules for a visit. I will touch base when the caravan time gets closer.

Where are you meeting? I'm coming in from Fort Worth Wednesday evening. Don't know where I'm staying but might as well stay somewhere close to where we will be meeting.

What time and where are you going to be in Knoxville? I haven't decided on which way to go, through the woods at Cleveland Tn. or go through Knoxville. For me to get to Knoxvile it takes about 3.5 hours.

Yep....meeting Jack in East Texas, so the two of us will be keeping each other outta trouble till we get to Nashville.....Blueroadster06 will be about 3.5 hours behind us but will meet up in Nashville also....see ya'all soon!!

We will be going to Maggie from the South(Florida). We are planning a stop in Nashville on our way to Route 66 perhaps we could follow you home.

Wingrider...........Lloyd and I flew into Nashville this evening. We are staying overnight in Kingston. We are visiting the Appalachian Museum in Norris tomorrow morning and then heading down through Knoxville, then onward to MV. If you see two crazy people, driving a dark grey Pontiac G6, waving and honking madly at your group, it will be us. We will join the caravan by "bringing up the rear!"

I'll keep and eye out for you. I'll be leading the pack, but then I do have a

one and everyone knows they are the fastest.

there will be 15 or 16 in our group.
If your plans have room come join us in the morning at 9:00 at route 109 and I-40 east of Nashville at the McDonalds.

Be sure and drive reasonably, wingrider, Lloyd's a little apprehensive about following a pack of haul-a$$ in a rental car AGAIN.

(Lloyd and I survived Devastator leading a pack of SSRs from Sterling Heights to Lansing, Michigan . . .)

If you guys haven't left yet, they are closing I-40 thru town today.... You'll have to take I-640 around town. Be ready for delays!!!
