Well we talked about a cruise in so let's just go for it. The consensus was to get together on Saturday, May 13th for the First Coast Car Council Cruise in Fruit Cove
( just south of Mandarin on State Rd 13 ). The cruise in is from 6:00PM til 9:00PM. How about we meet at the Cold Stone Creamery on State Rd 210 in Sampson at 3:30PM. We could hang out , eat ice cream and get to know each other better and then cruise together to Fruit Cove. State Rd 210 is about 7 miles south of the Avenues Mall area off I-95 south of J-ville. Just take I-95 south to SR 210, turn right ( west ) and go 2 miles to the new Publix shopping center. What does everybody think?
can you give us a little better information incase we can make it down there??? I won't know until that weekend thought if we can come.
If you were headed south on I-95 go thru Jacksonville into St John's county. Exit on SR 210. That is the first exit after the rest area just south of J-ville. After we socialize ( eat ice cream ) we'll head to the car council cruise in. I have attended that cruise for years with River City F-Bodies and it will have a very big turnout. There are also a number of restaraunts around that area.
Hopefully we can get enough of us together to start a SSR club. We'll see what shakes out.

I got mine back from George Moore. I had some humidity in the clearcoat so they repainted the entire thing. While she was in there I ordered the pedal package and had them install it.
Hopefully she'll be looking good by the 13th!

I'll be there since I live there! (It also happens to be my Cold Stone Creamery store.) I said it before, and I'll repeat it here. To all SSR owners and spouses (or girl friends), your first ice cream treat is on me. I'll provide cold, bottled Dasani water to boot. I'll print up some special coupons for the occasion for a free Love It size treat.
There is plenty of room for us to park as a group and chat, etc. I look forward to meeting everybody on Saturday, May 13th!
I need to change this stupid handle. I got hung with "Peaches" years ago when I lived in So Cal by one of my associates at a paper mill where I worked. (It was his way to make fun of the fact that I lived in south Georgia, the peach state, for 21 years.) When I first used the name here, I had no idea that this site would grow as it did and that I would continue to be a participant like I have.
