Gina.
It's just down the road from you
You know that place that has the metal tower and claims that more pictures have been taken there than anywhere else in NC? Well that bear sits on the bottom floor of that tower.

But I found on my second run, there was nobody in front or behind me for more than half the ride down the mountain, so I could as fast as I wanted. The return back up the hill was a different story....there was a slower motorcycle blocking my way and he wouldn't pull over. I had waved a faster bike around me, but even he found that he couldn't pass the slower bike safely, so he pulled over to the side to wait

John we all went for a second time.. you did it 4 times deals gap to the parking spot 1 time.. parking spot to deals gap 1 time = 2 runs on the dragons tail 1 up one down..

It's all statistics
I said in the picture 1 and 2 COMPLETE runs (meaning up and down)....you know it drives completely different in each direction. I think I liked driving UP much better...I was hitting the brake less

There are two reasons why I did not go a second time on the Dragon. First one, it was way too crowded and slow. On the way up it turned into a parking lot three times. The second reason is because at the end of the first trip down and back, Brenda my co-pilot was turning green and chewing on something … I don’t know what, we had no food with us.
Riding the dragon as a group I tended to shift gears as would normally, lower RPMs. I probably would have had more changes if I tried drifting as Devastator did.
I noticed on the run from deals gap to the lake I did approximately 50 gear changes. 2 3 & 4. Mostly 3 to 4 to 3 to..., hitting 2nd at the tighter switchbacks. Going from the lake back to deals gap I did approximately 30 gear changes 2 to 3 to 4 to 2. I can see where the dragon would be a lot different with a lighter vehicle.
