redline spotted in NC
Spotted a redline topless on I85/40 Saturday evening at about 5:30 pm at exit 143 (Burlington), travelling south/west. Not many R's in this part of NC. Heard there was a redline at a carshow in Mebane about a month ago and heard it was from Greensboro. Wonder if it's the same one??

Could have been DREAMSSR, he's from Greensboro and goes to the shows around the area. It was'nt me, I live between Greensboro and Winston-Salem.

It was me at the Mebane show. I am usually at a show somewhere in the Carolinas/Va. every Sat. It's my passion, and it's a treat showing the R because they are so rare. I was in Roanoke Va. yesterday at veteran's show. Would love to meet you.

I am getting the impression there are more Rs in central NC than I thought. I know of the following: 2fastoon-Salisbury, shakemyhand-Kernersville, tweetybird-Cary, Meg in Charlotte, Dick Kruse in Charlotte, 2scoops in Elizabeth City, Catbert-Winston Salem, you and me and more that I don't know. Maybe we can put together a meet and greet in the near future...and surely meet at the NASCAR/Balloon event in October.
Give me some feed back y'all and I'll try to put together a more comprehensive list.

We are about 2 hours from Charlotte and Gina is about 3 hours. Alex05SSR is near Spartanburg, SC maybe a hours drive from Charlotte. Wish you the best on your get together for a meet and greet.

If you have not met this famous "Grandma" now is the time to come on down to Georgia. I will be leaving the Charlotte area about 7:00am on Saturday Sept 24th come join up with me for the ride. Grandma's BBQ lunch is served at 1:00pm; I plan to stay over at nearby hotels or B&B's and have a leisurely drive back home on Sunday. Gina is driving down from Maggie Valley to be there too.

First weekend in November in Smithfield VA they're holding the 14th Hot Rod and Muscle Car Oldies But Goodies Gathering. Didn't make last years but plan on going to this one. Let me know if any Tarheel Fanatics are interested. BTW...Isn't there a Greenville NC fanatic too? Bing's 13th Annual Hot Rod Party

Sorry to have been absent from the forum. I travel constantly. Have been in PA, SC CA and headed to AZ tomorrow for the week. Thanks for the info from all. Thanks Bagger about the Va show. Spohn3 and I met at a show we both collected hardware! You all know how few R's there. I will write a book of jsut the questions I get about mine. ( as I am sure we all do). spotted two Rs friday on way to Brevard.one yellow 85 south bound and one in Liberty N.C. waved, but not in my 04 UV. good to see good company on the road. enjoy this great weather everyone.see you all next month in corenelius.
