As some of you know, Linda had breast cancer surgery last week. Sorry it has taken so long to post. All went well, in and out in 45 min. Pathology results won't be back until next week. Radiation treatments will start soon after.
Thank you all for your prayers and phone calls. They are all appreciated.

Continued prayers coming. My wife went through a similar process a couple of years ago. After awhile the radiation treatments can wear you down--the effects are cumulative.

Mike - our prayers go out to you and Linda. My wife, Robin, had breast cancer two years ago - had the lumpectomy, went through 33 radiation treatments and now is as good as new. Yes the radiation treatments get more intense after the half-way point - and Linda will start wearing down towards the end of her treatments - but - she will get stronger every day after the treatments stop - and you will both be able to look forward to long top-down cruises for years to come. Michael and Linda,
Our deep, heart felt prayers go out to you both in these hours of anxiety. This is a topic which is very dear and close to our hearts. Develop a network for support and let your family/friends be there and help anyway you need.
A few of you asked to be kept updated, well it's not as good as we had hoped. We got the pathology report and was told that they did not get it all. To make it worse, an infection set in last weekend. If the infection goes away fast enough, she will have surgery again on Friday 5/28.
Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers, please keep her in your prayers a little longer.

Nothing profound to say, but you have a friend whom you have never/may never meet who (with wife) has been there-done that. Best of luck to you two, and prayers also...
Well it's time for an update!
After getting an infection two weeks ago after her last surgery, a drain was installed," like our upper radiator hose, special design" to remove all the bad stuff, and it worked. It came out last Tue. She went under the knife again today, Doc says "he cut deeper and wider" this time. He believes he got it all, but that's what he said last time. Linda is now home and resting, she goes back to see doc next Tue for a follow up, we will know more when the pathology report is read. We both would like thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for all of your thoughts prayers and support.
