I am trying to get Danny to take that weekend off and attend this. Way to busy here during the leaf season for both of us to come. He is thinking about it but will only take one weekend off for the remainder of the tourist season and says he dont know if he can wait that long.
How far are ya'll from Warner-Robins? Maybe you need to call him.

Its only a 30 minute drive, you guys could stay with us. By the way, the Friday before the show is Jo Ann's 50th birthday. Maybe the lure of the party will convince him to come??

Oh I wish I could come but he is going to be alone. Way to busy here then.
You know I love a party and so does he!!!
I will tell him since ya'll came to his 50th in June that he has to go to JoAnns 50th!!!!
I will talk to him again tonight when he gets home.
Truck is dropped 2 1/2" in the front 4 1/2" in the rear, rear mpd spoiler is on and installed, front 3g chin spoiler is on and installed, I had them take the front bumper cover off and re spray the front end and fill the screw holes for the tag mount, Engine cover has been painted to match the truck, LS2 emblems are in and will go on along with the An American Revolution Windshield Decal. Of course it has the 5" exhaust tips, the predator and a couple other little changes..
I had to order the limiting straps for the rear and shoul dhave them in place next week.
Dang, with all the SSR's showing up we might have our own corner in the show
Last year I took second with my yellow SSR, I was beat out by a Dodge Ram club truck, maybe this time one of us can take the first spot!
Slug - Mine was stock last year so it doesn't really matter, you are right, it's just a time to hang out together and the show is very nice.
Big Daddy - I will contact the show POC's and see if we can get pre reserved spaces, if not, the first one in can reserve a section when checking in early.
For those interested, I know that it's a little early, but here is another website for information. Also note that there is a poker run the evening before. I've never been to it but heard that many people show up for it. http://www.rutherfordtrophies.com/wi...eels/index.htm
Me Too, let me know who else wants to enter. Dragon, Do you know how we can reserve a section together?
Received this from one of the event coordinators for the show:

Thank you for your email. We'd love to have you at our show, but I cannot
reserve a section in our parking lot without advance reservations. We've
done this before and have been "snake bitten" if you know what I mean (A
group said they'd bring a dozen cars and none showed up). Also whether a
person competes for a trophy or not, it's a $20 or $25 (after Oct. 3) fee,
because we have limited space and cannot allow vehicles to just come in and
display. This is a fund raiser which benefits the education programs at the
Museum of Aviation. There is an option: You all could be together on a
grass area immediately adjacent to the parking lot. It's a nice display
area. It would help relieve my space problem and you could set up a canopy,
for instance. Let me know if you're interested in this. Of course, the
same rule about "no pay, no display" would apply. Where are you all coming
from? I'd be happy to discuss this with you on the phone.

So is there interest in pre registering to guarantee a section or does everyone want to just show up on thier own? The grassy area is actually a better spot (the Vette and Miata clubs park there) becaue there is nobody behind you, within the parking area can get a little tight.

Who is willing to sign up for this group display area? The fees are found under the link at the beginning of the thread.
I'm In!
I am out... With my new bussiness and all getting started and not willing to just park my truck anywhere up there I guess I should just keep it at home. I don't want to spend the entire day there as I have things to do back here with my 51 adn the new bussiness. I am taking it down to Florida this month for Thunder beach "I love watching all the crazy's" and after that I might just stick it in the garage until the next Maggie Valley event.
