I did not make it to the Tail due to cutting my radiator hose on Friday....but I did manage to drive up a road that I had to back down because there wasn't room to turn around
Maybe next year.

I had this experience in those same NC mountains, WITH A TRAILER!! Was almost enough to make me move out of the state the day I arrived.
I did the run on Friday and had no problem with traffic. Saw some Mini's and bikes, but not much traffic. I drive in NJ, now thats traffic. Looking forward to next year Maggie Valley Relay, had a great time and met a bunch of Fanatics.

I think someone should design a fold down windshield like the old Jeeps had. I experienced the same problem. Maybe a booster seat and pedal blocks, then we could look over the top and wear goggles.!!!! Now that's sporty...

Yea, I had the same issue on Friday going to Brevard.

Seems to block your sight.
That's one of the problems with being tall in the 'R.
That first trip on the Tail is really exciting!! To bad the speed limit is only 30 mph. I know we rolled thru some of those turns much faster!! Still smiling
